Rabbi Slomo Koves was preparing to speak about Jewish life at a high school in a small, industrial town in Hungary when suddenly the headmaster had concerns. “The head of the school told me that he wanted me to be careful because most of the kids are first-time voters — and most of them will vote for the extreme-right Jobbik party,” Koves said. Koves, from Budapest, insisted that he would be okay and the first question he asked the students was: “What comes to mind when you hear the word ‘Jew’?” Their answer, he says, “was a curse word.” […]...

Raisi assumed office in August following months of protests by Iranian citizens and expatriates alike over his role in severe human rights violations, including the massacre of 30,000 political prisoners, mostly members and supporters of the main opposition, the Mojahedin-e-Khalq (MEK) in the summer of 1988. Public demands for his arrest intensified in the wake of the announcement that Raisi is expected to attend the COP26 climate change...

The State Department has walked back comments made last week that the Biden administration is engaged in strategic talks related to “Palestine.” The State Department’s spokeswoman, Jalina Porter, to whom the report referred to as “controversy-prone,” mentioned at a press briefing last week that officials were engaged in talks with Palestinian officials “surrounding Palestine” – a nonexistent state. “Any time that we engage on issues of, surrounding Palestine they are strategic,” she said. The report noted: Porter’s reference to “Palestine” would represent a monumental shift in decades of U.S. policy regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The State Department’s longstanding policy, upheld...

Comedian and actress Sarah Silverman expressed rare criticism towards the Democratic "Squad" over their opposition to providing U.S. funding for Israel's Iron Dome defense system. Last month, progressive lawmakers were successful in stripping $1 billion allocated for the Jewish State's missile defense program from the Democrat spending bill. The funding was then voted on separately, which received overwhelming bipartisan support with the exception of Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., and the "Squad" members. Notably, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., changed her vote from "no" to "present" last minute. It's frustrating because my girls, ma gurls in the Squad, um, really didn't want...

While the Democrat leadership has been slavishly laboring to convince the American public that America should be an embarrassment and a source of deep shame, it would seem that our president and his handlers have decided that propaganda is not enough. They needed to provide a legitimate reason for our national disgust. And so they have: the reckless disregard for American citizens trapped in the terrorist haven that Afghanistan has now become and the unparalleled betrayal of the Afghan people. Is Joe Biden's creation of the Afghanistan withdrawal disaster really just a case of gross incompetence? What if this isn't...
