How insane are the birthers? Ann Coulter thinks they're a bunch of cranks and said so on Fox News. Of course she blames it all on the liberal media rather than on the nuts who are still pushing it, because it can't be the fault of those on the right, liberals must be to blame for everything somehow. Video below the fold: And naturally, the Freepers are losing their minds over Coulter's apostasy. "Coulter has gone over to the dark side. Her dark roots are showing." "Anne, you are losing it girl. In fact, I think you have already. There...

WASHINGTON (CNN) – It looks like Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin may have one less fan. On the same day that Palin is set to transfer power to her lieutenant governor, Republican strategist Alex Castellanos said her prospects for national office looked grim. “’I’ve been a supporter of Sarah Palin — at times,” Castellanos said Sunday on CNN’s State of the Union. “She gave the McCain campaign its best two weeks. But, you know, if we’re going to be critical of Democrats when they shirk their responsibilities, we have do the same within our own house. She abandoned her state in...

Ann Coulter agrees with Rivera and Huck(ster)abee that Obama's birth certificate is not issue. Says "the issue was dealt with". These so-called "conservative leaders" Coulter and Huckabee are way behind the curve.... Video: http://www.breitbart.tv/ann-coulter-birthers-are-wrong/

By Joshua Livestro You all probably remember my good friend Michael van der Galien. He's the guy who wrote an 'ironic' post about the star qualities of Gov. Palin which led to a little back and forth between C4P and his site, Poligazette. In all seriousness, Michael actually is a good friend of mine. He may be wrong about one big thing (i.e. his blind, uncritical support for the Mittrosexual Man), but he is right about a lot of other things. If I'd have to pick a man to stand next to me in the trenches to defend life, liberty...

If the GOP was smart, they would go with someone like Governor Linda Lingle (R), of Hawaii to challenge Obama in 2012. She's one tough lady. She's really smart, very level-headed, pro-business, fiscally conservative, and yet she supports women's issues, and she's also a social moderate. George W. Bush LOVED her. Interestingly, she's also Jewish (from Missouri), and was married, although now she's divorced. She would please conservatives AND moderate Republicans, plus she's got the Jewish vote and I know she would appeal to minorities, since she totally understands and relates to minorities, having presided over one of the most...

The last few days conservatives have begun to demonize the health care system in Massachusetts. That's because, in the view of many conservatives, Massachusetts' health care system is congruent to the health care system that President Obama is attempting to construct. That's simplified. Here's how it's similar. It requires every citizen to have health insurance. It requires all employers, but the smallest, to provide health insurance to their employees. Finally, those that don't make enough money have their insurance subsidized. Here's how it's different. It has no public option.

Former GOP Governor Helped Make 2006 Reform Reality. BOSTON -- Three years after the inception of Massachusetts’ landmark health reform legislation, which required every citizen to buy insurance, NewsCenter 5’s Ed Harding wondered what former Gov. Mitt Romney, a key political architect of the plan, thought of its progress. Call it protecting his legacy, well-earned pride, or seeing the glass as half-full, but Romney says Massachusetts deserves an ‘A.’ “It’s working like we had hoped it would work,” the one-time republic presidential candidate said. “We got nearly everybody in Massachusetts health insurance, which really, something people didn't think was possible.”...
