Hello all. My wife and I are buying a house and we need to demo and remodel the kitchen. I have been looking for generic timeline samples and lists of things that need to be done and questions to ask of contractors but I'm not having much luck.Question: Is anyone here a contractor or has experience with home kitchen remodels that might be willing to help me find relevant materials to make the job go smoother. Thanks

I'm hoping to sell my house by springtime (I need a bigger one for my wife and kids) and would like my bathroom redone. Needs some drywall work, new bathroom tub and shower surround, etc. I had a really hard time finding contractors and I got two bids. I can pick out the items from Home Depot I want him to install. Nothing fancy or complicated. is it expected for me to buy the items I want him to install? Or does he do that as part of the cost of the job?

If approved by voters next year, their bond package of unparalleled scope could raise $50 billion or more to speed commuters home, quickly move imported goods from ship to store, modernize campuses, build power plants, provide affordable housing, make hospitals safe from earthquakes and repair aging levees that guard homes, farms and drinking water. "If we are not bold, how can we meet the challenges of the future?" Schwarzenegger told a...
