The Black Lives Matter movement has frequently been criticized by conservatives, and for good reason. The organization is undeniably radical and practices race-based intimidation. UMass-Amherst students are protesting their school's seal, claiming it promotes racism and violence, because it depicts a Native American holding a bow and an arrow. An anti-racism rally planned at the University of Colorado, Boulder, to show solidarity with University of Missouri black activists was cancelled because the protest organizers are white. However, a check of one of the event planner’s Facebook page reveals that isn’t the case. Students at Occidental College who have occupied an administration building this week have demanded that campus safety officers stop wearing bulletproof vests. The demand is one of fourteen presented to the administration by the students, who call themselves "Oxy United for Black Liberation."
