Two special investigators hired by DeKalb County’s interim CEO to look into allegations of wrongdoing in the county government issued a letter Wednesday calling the level of government corruption in DeKalb “stunning.” Former Georgia Attorney General Mike Bowers and Richard Hyde were retained by Interim CEO Lee May last April to try to pull together multiple threads of local and federal investigations into a single report.
