POLK CITY - Smoke and fog are causing a surreal scene in Polk County that's forced the closure of a stretch of Interstate 4, and contributed to a massive pile-up. All lanes of I-4 are closed between the Polk Parkway and U.S. 27. That's roughly from Polk City to the Osceola County line. <p>In dense afternoon fog Wednesday, about 200 cars smashed into one another in a series of crashes that killed two people and left mangled vehicles piled up over a seven-mile stretch.</p> <p>The crash - mid-Michigan's worst in recent history - shut down all lanes of Interstate 96 from U.S. 127 to beyond Webberville.
