Ping!
Looks like one of the "cars" was a Semi..........
A wreck like that could certainly spoil your day.
Not good.
But if you like looking at mangled cars, go here:

Will give you a lot of headache at the least.:)

My Yaris just shuddered.
Yaris?
Horrible. One taxi ride in Korea and you are ready for bungee jumping, hang gliding, snake handling, sky diving, mine clearing etc
My grandfather was run over by a semi's back wheels in a Volkswagon Fastback in 1974. He apparently had a heart attack and drifted under the semi. I never saw the car (I was 8 and in CA on summer vacation at the time, he was in MO), but my dad said it was crushed beyond belief. Scary stuff.
I remember having such a ride close to midnight curfew long time ago(curfew was in effect everyday as you know.) Taxi zipped through winding road of Namsan at about 70 miles an hour.
These days cabs are not a threat they used to be. However, there are many young folks driving high-powered vehicle. Many here still drink a lot. Just about everybody has a car.:) So we have a dangerous mix of booze, cocky youth, and high-powered car. It is not uncommon to see some of these guys doing 100+ miles an hour when they see a nice stretch of roads, which frequently result in deadly crashes.
Sympathy for Mr. Crushed
I suspect the safest driving conditions would by in Pusan where no driver ever exceeds 2 mph.
