Two Maryland hospitals declared a healthcare “disaster” on Friday as COVID-19 cases continue to rise at the Old Line State facilities. The University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health system made the “disaster” announcements for the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air and the Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, according to The Washington Post.
