The “Operation Crossfire Hurricane” plot against President Donald Trump is now exposed for the world to see, with special counsel Robert Mueller coming up empty in his quest to pin Trump with Russian collusion or obstruction of justice.

Former FBI chief James Comey said in a speech Tuesday evening that he is confused by Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s reasoning on charging President Trump with obstruction of justice. Mr. Comey told his audience that while he had “great faith” in Mr. Mueller, the special counsel essentially punted on the matter, neither recommending that Mr. Trump be charged nor exonerating him. “The part that’s confusing is, I can’t quite understand what’s going on with the obstruction stuff,” Mr. Comey told his audience at the Belk Theatre in Charlotte, North Carolina, according to an NBC News report. Instead, Mr. Mueller’s nonrecommendation...

President Trump will face an obstruction of justice charge from special counsel Robert Mueller, former Attorney General Eric Holder predicted. “You technically have an obstruction of justice case that already exists,” Holder, who served under then-President Obama, said on HBO’s "Real Time with Bill Maher." "I've known Bob Mueller for 20, 30 years; my guess is he's just trying to make the case as good as he possibly can. So, I think that we have to be patient in that regard.” Trump’s critics have speculated about an obstruction charge ever since he fired FBI Director James Comey in the midst...

Tuesday on SiriusXM’s “The Dan Abrams Show,” Fox News legal analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano said he thinks Donald Trump, Jr. will be indicted as a result of special counsel Robert Muller’s investigation. In discussing the sentencing document filed yesterday by Mueller’s office on Michael Flynn, Napolitano said, “The President himself should be extremely uncomfortable about this. Not for his son or son-in-law as much as for himself.”

I strongly supported Mueller being allowed to complete his investigation and submit his findings. Now that Mueller has found no collusion took place, we need to set aside our partisan interests and recognize that finding the president of the United States not guilty of conspiring with a foreign power to interfere with our elections is a good thing for America. If the president of the United States had been indicted for conspiring with Russia to interfere with and affect the outcome of our elections it would have precipitated a terribly divisive crisis that could have even led to civil war....

Former CIA chief John O. Brennan now says his months of attacks on President Trump may have been based on “bad information.”... “Well, I don’t know if I received bad information but I think I suspected there was more than there actually was,” Mr. Brennan told host Joe Scarborough. “I am relieved that it’s been determined there was not a criminal conspiracy with the Russian government over our election.”

On Monday, Hillary Clinton's friends, aides, interrogators and anyone else wrapped up in the ongoing drama surrounding her email practices as secretary of state will be poring over the largest release yet of messages from the first four years of the Obama administration. Her decision to use a private server, and whether that decision violated any State Department rules, has become the most intricate Clinton controversy since the long-running 1990s Whitewater land scandal, and the cast of characters in the drama continues to proliferate. Fueled by political rivals on the campaign trail and Republicans in Congress, the dispute has led...

With the conclusions of special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe now known to a significant degree, it seems apologies are in order. However, judging by the recent past, apologies are not likely forthcoming from the responsible parties. In this context, it matters not whether one is a supporter or a critic of President Trump. Whatever his supposed flaws, the rampant accusations and speculation that shrouded Trump’s presidency, even before it began, ultimately have proven unfounded. Just as Trump said all along. Yet, each time Trump said so, some of us in the media lampooned him. We treated any words he spoke...

Now that special counsel Robert Mueller has completed his investigation, it is tempting to breathe a sigh of relief and assume that our long national nightmare is over. Resist the temptation, the assumption is false. We are not close to the end. Not by a long shot. In fact, I believe the last two years, as traumatic as they were, will prove to be the easier part of the nightmare, because Mueller dealt only with whether Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign conspired with Russia to swing the election. Based on what we know so far, especially that no more indictments are...

...I wanted to write you about some of the metrics that we are getting and let you know through placement on Facebook we can guarantee 1.5 million views in addition to Yahoo engagement which has been close to 1 million for my political interviews. I'd also like to do a separate piece of business through social media along the lines of "10 things you don't know about Hillary Clinton" that would showcase her personality and has a lot of viral potential.

Democrats leading six House committees demanded the Justice Department release special counsel Robert Mueller’s full report to Congress by April 2, citing outstanding questions they claim were not answered in Attorney General Bill Barr’s summary of the Russia investigation provided to lawmakers Sunday. ... In addition to Nadler and Schiff, the letter was signed by House Oversight Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings of Maryland, House Financial Services Committee Chairwoman Maxine Waters of California, House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard Neal of Massachusetts, and House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Eliot Engel of New York.

Following the revelation that Special Counsel Robert Mueller unearthed no evidence that President Trump or his campaign colluded with Russia to sway the 2016 election, Trump allies are now awaiting the results of two long-running internal probes that could expose the backstory behind the Russia probe's beginnings -- and provide more detail on already-documented misconduct among top FBI and DOJ officials. DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz confirmed at a panel discussion last week that his office is continuing to review potential surveillance abuses by the FBI, a review that began last March and that Fox News is told is nearing...

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Monday blocked a resolution calling for special counsel Robert Mueller's report to be released publicly. Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) asked for unanimous consent for the nonbinding resolution, which cleared the House 420-0, to be passed by the Senate following Mueller's submission of his final report on Friday. "Whether or not you're a supporter of President Trump ... there is no good reason not to make the report public," Schumer said from the floor. "It's a simple request for transparency. Nothing more, nothing less." But McConnell objected, noting that Attorney General William...

As Robert Mueller exits stage left, the Justice Department will continue to pursue a handful of investigations -- and potentially more prosecutions -- that began with or were bolstered by the special counsel's work. And a significant group of them still focus around President Donald Trump. The still-live investigations range from an expansive probe into the Trump inaugural committee, to various investigations relating to former top Trump campaign officials Paul Manafort and Rick Gates, to tips that stemmed from Trump personal attorney Michael Cohen's experience with Trump and his family's company. It's possible other investigations are being conducted quietly, as...

The Trump administration has sent a memo to TV producers which contains a list of Russian collusion liars, advising networks to challenge individuals like Rep. Adam Schiff on their “false claims” in future. The memo, sent by Trump’s Director of Communications Tim Murtaugh, was sent a day after the Mueller investigation’s conclusion which completely vindicated President Trump. It lists Sen. Richard Blumenthal, Rep. Adam Schiff, Rep. Jerrold Nadler, Rep. Eric Swalwell, DNC Chairman Tom Perez and former CIA director John Brennan. The memo accuses the above of “lying to the American people by vigorously and repeatedly claiming there was evidence of collusion.”“They made...

A majority of registered voters in a new poll say they would consider voting President Trump into a second term. Fifty-four percent in the Hill-HarrisX survey released Monday said they would think about voting for Trump, though 46 percent of registered voters said they would not even consider casting a ballot for the president. The polling was conducted before a summary of special counsel Robert Mueller's conclusions were released. That summary reported that Mueller did not find evidence of collusion between Trump's campaign and Russia, a huge win for the president. People who said they backed Trump in 2016 are...

The former President now owes the country an explanation for the historic abuse of government surveillance powers. The Mueller report confirms that the Obama administration, without evidence, turned the surveillance powers of the federal government against the presidential campaign of the party out of power. This historic abuse of executive authority was either approved by President Barack Obama or it was not. It’s time for Mr. Obama, who oddly receives few mentions in stories about his government’s spying on associates of the 2016 Trump campaign, to say what he knew and did not know about the targeting of his party’s...

Meh. Full transparency would be best, but I find it hard to believe Barr would have distorted or “shaded†Mueller’s findings in his summary knowing the enormous risk that to his and the DOJ’s reputations if the truth leaked. Mueller knows what the report says. So do Mueller’s deputies. So does Rod Rosenstein. So do any other higher-ups at the Department who consulted on the summary. If Barr’s being cute about what the report describes, all it would take is one person whispering to the media about it and he’d be at risk of impeachment. But yes, let’s have the...

Mueller's Verdict May Be In, But Closure Is Out of Reach . By Susan CrabtreeMarch 25, 2019 Mueller's Verdict May Be In, But Closure Is Out of ReachAP Photo/Carolyn Kaster After nearly two years of alternating White House angst and Democratic anticipation, Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation and final report set off a frenzy in Washington over the weekend but provided neither closure nor solace for a divided nation. Indeed, it seemed to cement America’s dueling split-screen political realities in place for years to come. anticipation of the “big reveal,” Fox News’ Sean Hannity ran a banner headline Friday night:...
