A California man placed a hidden camera inside a Starbucks bathroom and filmed dozens of unsuspecting women and children, according to police. The camera was disguised as a coat hook and affixed to a wall adjacent to a toilet for two days last month. William Zafra Velasco, 25, was arrested earlier this month by Glendora Police Department officers, who executed search warrants at the San Dimas home of the unemployed student. Detectives examining Velasco’s computers discovered “disturbing video of at least 45 female victims using the restroom, including children,” according to investigators. Velasco, pictured in the above mug shot, was...

It's the fear of many air travelers: Step into full-body scanning machines and Transportation Security Administration officers might get an eyeful of their private parts. That is apparently what has been happening on a regular basis — at least during TSA training sessions — and earlier this week it led one Miami International Airport transportation security officer to allegedly attack a co-worker with a baton. The co-worker had been making fun of the size of the officer's genitals, according to Miami-Dade police.

The system that Lower Merion school officials used to track lost and stolen laptops wound up secretly capturing thousands of images, including photographs of students in their homes, Web sites they visited, and excerpts of their online chats, says a new motion filed in a suit against the district. More than once, the motion asserts, the camera on Robbins' school-issued laptop took photos of Robbins as he slept in his bed. Each time, it fired the images off to network servers at the school district. Back at district offices, the Robbins motion says, employees with access to the images marveled...

Erin Andrews is an ESPN reporter. Some sick person planted hidden cameras in her hotel room and splashed video of her while she was dressing all over the Internet.

One of America's leading female sports writers has insinuated that Erin Andrews may have been partially responsible for cultivating a "frat house" fan base that led to a Peeping Tom video taping her in the nude and posting the video on the Internet. "If you trade off your sex appeal, if you trade off your looks, eventually you're going to lose those," USA Today sports columnist Christine Brennan said Wednesday on the sports radio show 850 "The Buzz." "She doesn't deserve what happened to her, but part of the shtick, seems to me, is being a little bit out there...

...The problems began last fall when [principal David] Davis, who did not return phone messages from The Associated Press, admonished the senior, who is identified only as "Jane Doe" in court records and whose friends say she doesn't want to talk about the experience. The friends donned gay pride T-shirts and rainbow-colored clothing when they found out how Davis had treated her, and he questioned many of them about their sexuality and association with gay students. Some were suspended. "Davis embarked on what can only be characterized as a 'witch hunt' to identify students who were homosexual and their supporters,...

OKLAHOMA CITY — A man accused of using a camera to take pictures under the skirt of an unsuspecting 16-year-old girl at a Tulsa store did not commit a crime, a state appeals court has ruled. The state Court of Criminal Appeals voted 4-1 in favor of Riccardo Gino Ferrante, who was arrested in 2006 for situating a camera underneath the girl's skirt at a Target store and taking photographs. Ferrante, now 34, was charged under a "Peeping Tom" statute that requires the victim to be "in a place where there is a right to a reasonable expectation of privacy."...

A MAN recently released from jail in California after being convicted of secretly videotaping a woman and a teenage girl has sued a Marin County police department for the return of a large porn collection taken during the investigation. Dennis Saunders, 59, filed suit against San Rafael police in Marin County Superior Court after the department refused to give back some 500 pornographic movies and 250 magazines his lawyer described as unrelated to the peeping case. “There's absolutely no legal foundation for them withholding perfectly legal adult-oriented material,” lawyer Jon Rankin told the Marin Independent Journal. The video collection alone...

Peeping Toms beware. You could soon face harsh punishment for looking up a woman's skirt or spying through holes in bathroom and dressing room walls. Sometimes a look is just a look. Sometimes, it's not. Just ask the women of New York City. "I would feel violated," Queens resident Amy Dannenmueller said. Topacia Petraglia of Queens agreed. "No one wants to be observed when in your natural being walking around," Petraglia said. Added Coleen Lloyd, also of Queens: "It makes you uncomfortable, but people do gross things." "Anyone's trying to look up my skirt, I want it prevented," Erin Downhour...
