Luzerne County is one of seven counties in seven battleground states that can be viewed as bellwethers in presidential elections, according to a consulting firm that last month conducted a poll putting Donald Trump ahead by 17 percentage points in the county. “Occupy DNC” protesters have locked down two campground sites where they will set up tent cities to use as home base for their anti-Hillary protests. About 6,000 delegates and alternates are coming to Philadelphia for the 2016 Democratic National Convention from July 25 to 28, 2016.
