I just finished watching the Phil Donahue/Bill O'Reilly debate on FOX News. As I listened to Phil spew out unintelligable conspiracy theories and overall lambast those who continued to support the War on Terror, one line jumped out at me. "Almost 2000 people have died." It got me thinking (don't worry, I'm not going soft on those terrorist scumbags.)...and one very big fact jumped out at me: the Left has lost the concept of sacrifice. Wait; let me rephrase that: they can't grasp it, and they never have. I'm not saying that the 1900+ deaths are insignificant. We should all...

Former television talk-show host Phil Donahue became involved in a heated shouting match last night with Fox News host Bill O'Reilly over continued U.S. involvement in Iraq. However, much of America was not able to see the verbal wrestling match, as breaking news of the landing of a crippled JetBlue flight in Los Angeles pre-empted a portion of "The O'Reilly Factor" during its live feed.

"How many more young men and women are you going to send to have their arms and legs blown off so that you can be tough and point at people in a cowardly way"

Bill O'Reilly on his show today compared himself to Martin Luther. This came from O'Reilly talking about his crusade against the news industry. He thinks he is the only one fighting against the bias in news.

Poor Behavior By: Bill O'Reilly for BillOReilly.com Thursday, Sep 15, 2005 Soon after the horror of Hurricane Katrina, Americans were subjected to another high wind warning when Jesse Jackson and Howard Dean began exploiting the situation for perceived political gain. These guys will never learn. Ardent Bush haters, they had a perfect opening to ask exactly why the President was at least 24 hours late in responding to the chaos. Once the levees breached in New Orleans, the situation became one of national security. I mean, no sitting President can allow a major American city to be wiped out. President...

Clicking through the radio dial on a drive through Virginia the other day, I had the occasion to listen to Bill O'Reilly posturing as a political independent who takes on the left and right. He said he had come under attack by a "right-wing" website because he wouldn't interview Ed Klein, the author of The Truth About Hillary. I presume he's referring to Accuracy in Media. We have done extensive reporting on the coverage of the Klein book and have found it strange that O'Reilly has joined with the liberal media in suppressing discussion of the serious charges in the...

BILL O'REILLY, FOX NEWS HOST: How do you assess President Bush's falling poll numbers? He's at the lowest level of his presidency now. Why do you think that's happening? CONDOLEEZZA RICE, SECRETARY OF STATE: Well, Bill, I'm not one who can assess poll numbers in American politics. I know that this is a president who has had to do a lot of very difficult things. He's had to deal with the largest terrorist attack on American soil, now the largest natural disaster in the United States. And he's had to make some very difficult decisions. I do know that he...

Oh Canada!September 12, 2005 Fox News JOHN GIBSON, GUEST HOST: In the second "Factor Follow-up" segment tonight, generous offers of hurricane aid have been pouring in from around the world, but the donation of one close neighbor piqued Bill's interest. (VIDEO CLIP) GIBSON: OK, well, we're going to find out what the situation is. Frank McKenna is the Canadian ambassador to the U.S. He joins us now from Washington. So Mr. McKenna, welcome. FRANK MCKENNA, CANADIAN AMBASSADOR TO U.S.: Thank you. GIBSON: Bill was looking for lots of cash. I suppose the very first thing you'd want to tell me...

This is where the blame game gets ugly. "So every American kid should be required to watch videotape of the poor in New Orleans and see how they suffered (after Hurricane Katrina), because they couldn't get out of town," said Fox News Channel pundit Bill O'Reilly last week on his show, The O'Reilly Factor . "And then, every teacher should tell the students, "If you refuse to learn, if you refuse to work hard, if you become addicted, if you live a gangsta-life, you will be poor and powerless just like many of those in New Orleans."' This was how...

Another wacky Journalist, one "Elinor Tatum" of the 'The Amsterdam News', who knows that President Bush is a racist, and that "if it had been whites in the Superdome"....... Anyone have a transcript?

Talk about train-wreck TV. The female guest was an embarrisment, and is a prime example of what is wrong with a certain part of an "unnamed" community.

I was watching O’Reilly re-run for tonight and he finally got it on who did really screw it up during and after hurricane Katrina. He finally pointed out the two main guilty parties, governor Blanco of Louisiana and mayor Nagin of New Orleans. He also had a guest on his show who further elaborated that Blanco and Nagin incompetence and lack of leadership were the main reason for the cause of the mess that occurred in the first 48 hours after hurricane Katrina. Finally! PS: His poll question about grading the authorities for their performance on Katrina is very unfair...

OLYMPIA—In response to his Wall Street Journal column concerning those responsible for Hurricane Katrina's aftermath, Bob Williams, president of the Evergreen Freedom Foundation, will appear on Fox News' The O'Reilly Factor and CNN's Lou Dobbs Tonight programs this evening. Mr. Williams may also appear on ABC's World News Tonight.

Did I hear the interview of the the National Director of the Red Cross (Marsha Evans?) on O'reilly tonight right? Did she say that they were ready to go into Lousiana/New Orleans after the storm passed but the State Department of Homeland Security did not allow it?

Keeping the record straight on the Katrina story: that is the subject of this evening's "Talking Points Memo". Ground zero for the hate Bush movement is The New York Times Company, but its behavior in the wake of the Hurricane Katrina is so over the top, one wonders if CEO Janet Robinson has lost control over her operation. There's no question the Bush administration was slow in getting relief to the hurricane zone. That's a legitimate criticism, but the personal attacks on President Bush by The New York Times Company, which includes The Boston Globe are beyond the pale. Some...

Hurricane Katrina wiped out "Camp Casey," and that could be a good or a bad thing depending on your point of view. The storm diverted attention from Cindy Sheehan's anti-war protest in Crawford, Texas, and caused President Bush to ditch his vacation and high-tail it back to Washington where, reports say, Ms. Sheehan will follow.
