BILL O'REILLY, HOST: In "The Great Debate" segment tonight, conservative commentator Pat Buchanan (search), who works at a television network I can't remember the name of, has a new book out called "Where the Right Went Wrong: How Neoconservatives Subverted the Reagan Administration and Hijacked the Bush Presidency." Wow, what a title.

The Los Angeles Times is slamming Bill O’Reilly – for slamming the Los Angeles Times. The newspaper has warned the "telephilosopher” to stop his "decapitation fantasies” involving Times editorial page editor Michael Kinsley – or face trouble from the Secret Service. It all started with a Times editorial urging the shutdown of the terrorist detention center at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and access to attorneys for detainees. That set off O’Reilly. During the broadcast of "The Radio Factor with Bill O’Reilly” on May 17, he declared: "How can they think this way? How can anyone think this way? You know, ‘Shutting...

Now I remember why I don't watch O'Reilly any more. I was flipping through the channels and stoped on O'Reilly when I saw Dick Morris being interviewed. O'Reilly did his typical "Far Right" bashing claiming that only those on the "radical right" cared anything about the Filibuster issue. Of course. This snake oil he tries to sell about being the only non-extremist commentator is getting old. Speaking of old. Morris wasn't looking too good and as usual got it wrong. He claimed the Gang of 14 were the "sanity party" and that the President would use the "deal" to get...

RIGHT-WINGER BLASTS O'REILLY RABID radio host Michael Savage is whining that he has been banned from the Fox News Channel after he dissed Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity. The controversial conservative — who was fired by MSNBC in 2003 after referring to a caller to his show as "a sodomite" who should "get AIDS and die" — recently burned more bridges by calling O'Reilly a "Leper-Con who poses as a conservative" and Hannity "another Republican bootlicker who began as a Rush [Limbaugh] understudy" on his "Savage Nation" radio show. Savage claims that he's been bumped off four scheduled appearances on...

O'Reilly's Post-Election "Hemorrhage" In response to this morning's post about Paula Zahn's ratings, a CNN insider says: "FNC should be less concerned with Zahn's performance and more concerned with the fact that O'Reilly continues to hemorrhage viewers month-over-month since October." Here are the monthly averages: October: 3,166,000 November: 3,080,000 December: 2,610,000 January: 2,478,000 February: 2,391,000 March: 2,320,000 April: 2,178,000 May-to-date: 2,096,000

MANASSAS, Va., April 26 /Christian Wire Service/ -- Sen. Hillary Clinton and others whose public positions run contrary to Catholic teaching have been invited to deliver commencement addresses and receive honorary degrees at Catholic colleges, despite the U.S. bishops' ban on such honors. "We are blowing the whistle on any Catholic college that blatantly disrespects the bishops by defying their clear command and teaching," said Patrick J. Reilly, President of Cardinal Newman Society (CNS), a national organization dedicated to the renewal of Catholic identity at America's 220 Catholic colleges and universities. "After decades of scandal at secularizing colleges, last June...

The reemergence of Jane Fonda is causing a bit of angst, especially among some of the 2.4 million Americans who served in Vietnam. The liberal actress is selling a biographical book and stars in an upcoming movie with Jennifer Lopez. CNN has given Ms. Fonda almost as much airtime as the pope, and there is anger in the air. In July of 1972, Jane Fonda arrived in Hanoi and began a two-week tour that was used as propaganda by the North Vietnamese. Fonda made 10 radio broadcasts denouncing some Americans as "war criminals." Of course, no North Vietnamese or Viet...

Tuesday, April 12, 2005 By Bill O'Reilly As you may know, 9-year-old Jessica Lunsford (search) was kidnapped, sexually assaulted, and murdered. Convicted sex offender John Couey (search) has confessed to the crime. In the days before Jessica's body was recovered, police visited a trailer close to Jessica's house and asked three people who were living there if they knew anything about the little girl's disappearance. The cops went back to that place three times. But it wasn't until the third time, after Couey had fled the state, that the three individuals, Dorothy Dixon, Madie Secord and Matthew Dittrich admitted Couey...

O'Reilly has written a dustjacket blurb for Bishop Spong's new book: "The Sins of Scripture challenges Christians to look beyond the myths of their faith into the heart of the matter." I also got an email from a Spong-promoting outfit that says O'Reilly will have Spong on his show. Here's the Publishers Weekly review on amazon: Spong, a retired Episcopal bishop and prominent spokesperson for liberal Christianity, focuses this book on "terrible texts" which have been used to justify such "sins" as overbreeding, degradation of the environment, sexism, child abuse and anti-Semitism. These biblical texts, according to Spong, are not...

Yesterday on the radio, Bill O'Reilly said that if Michael Schiavo doesn't allow the Schindler family to have a funeral for Terri WITH HER BODY PRESENT, then O'Reilly will see Michael as a "villain." This is a little late for O'Reilly, who's been walking a middle line throughout the Schiavo ordeal. In my opinion, he certainly wasn't "looking out for" this woman as the fight was on to keep her from being deliberately starved to death. And he's also said that Greer passes the smell test. I don't get O'Reilly - - - sometimes he can recognize corruption and evil,...

Did anyone just see this on OReilly? Amazing!! Lanny Davis actually talking sense on Schiavo case. He is on the side of saving her. This country is turned upside down. Very depressing. BTW is the Supreme Court going to rule on this tonight? They were saying earlier that they could restore nurishment to Terri while they are reviewing the case.

Author: Hollywood's Castro Collaborators Revealed What do Jesse Jackson, Danny Glover, Chevy Chase, Norman Mailer and Naomi Campbell have in common? They're all charter members of the Fidel Castro fan club. Appearing on the Fox News Channel's "O'Reilly Factor" Tuesday night, author Humberto Fontova detailed the Castro-loving proclivities of America's literati-glitterati class, as described in his new book, "Fidel: Hollywood's Favorite Tyrant." Fontova laid the groundwork for why the "Hollywood pinheads," as O'Reilly called them, think Castro is so great: because Castro is "the cool anti-American." And, as we all know, Hollywood is a firm protectorate of the 'blame America...

The Abortion Industry Exposed Tonight on The O'Reilly Factor (7:00 pm and 10:00 pm central on the Fox News Channel) Be sure and watch Mark Crutcher, President of Life Dynamics, on The O'Reilly Factor tonight on Fox News. Mark will be talking with Bill O'Reilly about the abortion industry's cover-up of suspected child abuse. Recently it was revealed that the Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline has subpoenaed medical records in an investigation of abortion clinics regarding child rape and illegal late term abortions. Child rape is a serious crime, and when a girl under 14 is pregnant, under Kansas law,...

Anyone watch the O'Reilly Factor tonight? I try not to watch O'Reilly too much anymore since he has become so smug and egotistical but I sometimes catch the first few minute of his Talking Points to see what the major topic is. Of course tonight was the Terri Schiavo situation and it's impact. I was almost horrified when O'Reilly laid out his feelings for what should happen to Terri Schaivo and people in Persistent Vegetative States, etc.. O'Reilly feels that the State and more important the Doctors should be the final arbiters of who should live and who should die...

BILL O'REILLY, HOST: In the "Personal Story" segment tonight, musician/writer Kinky Friedman has announced his bid to unseat Texas Governor Rick Perry in 2006. Mr. Friedman must collect 50,000 signatures to get on the ballot as an independent, but why he would want that job is the major question. Kinky Friedman joins us now. He's the author of the brand-new book "10 Little New Yorkers." his 17th book novel. You sell a lot of books. You do really very well in that area. Now is this a Jesse Ventura? You really want to do a coup d'etat there in Texas...

I'm going to be on Bill O'Reilly's show on Fox News Channel tonight, as part of their coverage of the aftermath of the Nichols shooting here in Atlanta. The angle that tonight's show is going after is the history of corruption and incompetance of the Fulton County Sheriff's Department, first under prior sheriff Jackie Barrett, then under recently elected sheriff Myron Freeman. The other guest in my segment will be Dick Williams, moderator of WAGA/Fox 5's The Georgia Gang and a writer with the Atlanta Business Chronicle. The segment is set for somewhere between 8 and 10 minutes past the hour; The O'Reilly...

On February 25, the prominent Republican thinker Newt Gingrich gave a speech at the leading conservative think-tank American Enterprise Institute (AEI). Gingrich, who is a former Congressman and Republican majority leader of the House of Representatives, is now preparing for his presidential run in 2008.His sharp comments on Professor Ward Churchill and the future of academic freedom in the U.S. were reprinted in the conservative magazine National Review : "Ward Churchill is a viciously anti-American demagogue. He has every right to free speech, and I support his free speech. We should give him free speech by not paying him. You...
