A Bronx woman was sentenced to spend at least 11 years in prison for burglarizing homes in New York while families were attending funerals for relatives. Latonia Stewart, 30, was found guilty last month of burglarizing six homes between 2017 and 2018. A judge sentenced her on Monday. Stewart had faced a sentence ranging from 3 1/2 years to a maximum of 15 years in state prison on each burglary count. She received a 10-year sentence on each count to run concurrently. In addition, she received a 1-3 year sentence to run consecutively to the 10-year-sentence.

Owen (born Ogg) passed away peacefully last Thursday while surrounded by friends and family at her home in Vermont, according to TMZ. Beverley originated the role of Marilyn Munster - the 'ugly' teenage niece of Frankenstein and a female vampire with a werewolf for a cousin - in the first season of the CBS sitcom. The Miami native, whose death was reported by the Miami Herald, made his screen acting debut in 1979 on the sitcom "¿Qué pasa, U.S.A.?" Anton Yelchin, a rising actor best known for playing Chekov in the new "Star Trek" films, was killed in a car accident early Sunday, police and his publicist said. Retired Col. Steve Pisanos, a World War II ace who was decorated by four nations, has died, his family confirmed through the San Diego Air and Space Museum on June 9. Pisanos was 96. Born in Athens, Greece, Pisanos [sometimes spelled Pissanos] came to the United States in 1938. He joined the British Royal Air Force in 1941 and served with an Eagle Squadron until American members were absorbed by the US Army Air Forces 4th Fighter Group. He was 79.</p> <p>His wife, Janet, says Voinovich died peacefully in his sleep early Sunday. Muhammad Ali, the silver-tongued boxer and civil rights champion who famously proclaimed himself "The Greatest" and then spent a lifetime living up to the billing, is dead. Ali died Friday at a Phoenix-area hospital, where he had spent the past few days being treated for respiratory complications, a family spokesman confirmed to NBC News. He was 74. After a 32-year battle with Parkinson's disease, Muhammad Ali has passed away at the age of 74.
