I'm angry when I see the unfair united effort to shut out true conservatives like Duncan Hunter. Many Christian Conservatives are acting like cowards. They fear men rather choosing the very best person. Even if that person is not well know with a lot of money behind them. They ignore Duncan Hunter's stand on the issues. The people are not listening to him. He has a definite plan and vision for America. All the Rinos are starting copying him. He makes them look bad. The Rinos only see money. For themselves. They are more afraid of Hillary Clinton and the believe...

WASHINGTON, June 28 — With competing blocs of justices claiming the mantle of Brown v. Board of Education, a bitterly divided Supreme Court declared Thursday that public school systems cannot seek to achieve or maintain integration through measures that take explicit account of a student’s race.

An unbeatable ticket, one that would leave Hillary Clinton in the dust, is Giuliani/Lieberman. Clinton could easily lose her own state. Lieberman's a conservative Democrat (in some ways), Giuliani's a liberal Republican (in some ways) -- satisfying any combination in taste. But both have the most pressing issue of our time in focus. That issue is NATIONAL SECURITY. This is the dream ticket. Imagine election night. What a hoot.

Maybe someone can help me locate a proper group for this. The problem is I may know of a probable sexual predator (pedophile) who has never been caught. I live a different state than him. Is there any groups who have interests in keeping track of this kind of activity and ultimately apprehending and convicting this person? He's in Ohio

When I check into this site, often there were interesting discussions from the day before I want to look at. But they are already buried 4 pages deep because it seems some people just post anything they find. Who cares about a radio station promotional announcements, Bruno Kirby dying, or any of this other tripe that some people are posting up. I'm new here, but it seems that some guys are pretty much spamming the blog with articles that rate a "1" on the who gives a crap meter. If it isn't something that we will still remember in 10...

The most visible male homosexual lobbyist in the Massachusetts State House has been arrested for soliciting oral sex from college students at the University of Massachusetts, according to newspaper reports. William Conley works for the Massachusetts Gay & Lesbian Political Caucus and has been the point man for coordinating legislative support for funding homosexual programs (including the new "Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth") in the public schools, as well as same-sex "marriage", repeal of the sodomy laws, and other homosexual-related legislation.Conley has been a member of the "Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth", and has now become a...

Here's the place to post your pet peeves! Here are mine: 1. Liberals, lawyers, hypocrites, etc...wait, this list is getting redundant! 2. People who pronounce water as "wooter" and wash as "warsh", and strength/length as "strenth/lenth". So basically, people with Baltimore accents 3. Walking down a crowded hallway in school and the idiot in front of you stops and turns around 4. When people refer to the Czech Republic as just "Czech", or say "Slovakian" instead of the correct adjective, Slovak 5. Alarm clocks 6. People who whine. Oh wait, I already said liberals 7. Anti-war whackos, animal rights whackos,...

While attending an ATHGO World Bank symposium last week at the World Bank Group headquarters, I was exposed to hundreds of young men and women falling over one another in their attempts to help the aggregate of the third world population. The set of defined objectives we were all striving to implement were the United Nations eight Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The eight goals - crafted in 2000 at the UN Millennium Summit - "when achieved, will end extreme poverty worldwide by 2015." The conference itself focused on goals one, two, and six: ending extreme poverty and hunger, providing universal...

China increased its bank reserve requirement yesterday by .5 percent to 8.5 percent in an attempt to siphon off excess liquidity. The move comes just after China's second quarter report put its GDP growth rate at 11.3 percent. While raising the reserve requirement is considered by many countries to be a very blunt monetary policy instrument, China's blistering economic growth warrants something stronger than simply raising interest rates to tighten credit. The central bank has even said that a 10 percent reserve requirement by the end of the year is not out of the question.

Despite the clear economic case against a higher federal minimum wage, "moderates" in Congress are continuing the push the issue. Fortunately, House conservatives are not going along with this misguided effort, and members of the Republican Study Committee circulated this letter on Capitol Hill yesterday.

The world seems to be turning away from the refugees of Darfur — but the United Nations has a duty to act. A COUNTDOWN of less than 90 days has begun until the vulnerable people of Darfur are abandoned by world leaders who cannot make a decision — whether to protect them or leave them at the mercy of a Government that has killed at least a quarter of a million and driven millions more from their land. The scene is set for the world’s worst humanitarian crisis to tip from bad to worse. The head of the African Union...

As the US Federal Reserve prepares for its latest decision on interest rates, most analysts predict it will announce a further rise on Thursday. With its rate-setting Open Market Committee sitting down for two days of talks, the Fed is expected to increase rates by another 0.25% to 5.25%. This would be the 17th rise in a row, putting rates at a new five-year high. Commentators point to the fact that Fed chairman Ben Bernanke has already warned that inflation is a concern. He said at the start of this month that recent increases in inflation - triggered by rising...

"Every conflict reaches a tipping point. More often than not, historians would vouch, that tipping point need not be anywhere near the end of an ongoing war. It could be said, before Okinawa, prior to the bodies at Iwo Jima, before the firebombing of Tokyo, prior to MacArthur's return to the Philippines, and years before Truman's early August atomic decision, Japanese defeat was sowed at Midway. Ditto that in the European theater in the aftermath of D-Day, some eleven months before the fall of the Third Reich: turning points, they were, leaving only the question of how much time, treasure,...

Conservative author Ann Coulter fired back at Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) for calling her "vicious [and] mean-spirited" towards a group of politically active 9/11 widows who blamed Pres. Bush for the deaths of their husbands and who campaigned for John Kerry in 2004. Coulter, while hosting a book signing in Long Island, told radio host Sean Hannity that Clinton should have a talk with her husband, Bill, if she's worried about people being mean to women.
