There are four major legal actions underway attempting to drive Donald Trump off ballots and into jail. When we parse the left-wing legalese and talking points, they translate into one thing: The Left is petrified that Donald Trump will win, and, when he wins, he’ll go through the DC Establishment like a firestorm.

This is a tragedy, and the state bears responsibility,” U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Laredo, said in a statement. AUSTIN — Three migrants, including two children, drowned in Eagle Pass on Friday night after Texas troopers and National Guard members would not “grant access” to the individuals while “in distress,” according to U.S. Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar of Laredo. The news of the drownings comes while the state is in a standoff with the federal government after Texas authorities took control of Shelby Park, a municipal park in Eagle Pass on the Texas-Mexico border, on Wednesday night — against the wishes...
  • Besides Islamic states, almost no one supports South Africa's fake "genocide" case

Al Jazeera lists the countries which have officially backed the South African case before the ICJ claiming Israel is engaged in "genocide." It starts with the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC). And then it lists three countries - Malaysia, Jordan and Turkey - which all happen to be members of the OIC themselves. (If those countries calling out their support separately is significant, then one must wonder why the other 54 members of the OIC have not.) The only other country that publicly backs the case is Bolivia, which has a pretty poor human rights record itself.
  • Trump wins dismissal of emoluments court case that challenged payments to his DC hotel by foreigners

President Donald Trump on Wednesday won the dismissal of a lawsuit against him by Maryland and the District of Columbia that challenged payments made to his Washington hotel by foreigners while he has been in the White House. A three-judge panel in the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in a decision said that Maryland and D.C. do not have legal standing “to pursue their claims against the president” that he violated the emoluments clause of the U.S. Constitution.

Lawyers for the Justice Department are arguing that President Trump isn’t violating a Constitutional provision that bars federal officials from accepting payments from foreign governments because the clause doesn’t apply to certain transactions. In a new brief asking a judge to throw out a lawsuit brought against Trump by ethics watchdog Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), DOJ lawyers contend that the foreign emoluments clause doesn’t apply to “fair-market commercial transactions” like payments for hotel rooms and golf club fees, according to Bloomberg. Trump administration lawyers also argue that CREW and other plaintiffs lack legal standing to bring...

On Wednesday, Judge Loretta Preska confirmed the release of the initial names from Jeffrey Epstein’s extensive client list, comprising over 150 individuals. Concurrently, a collection of previously sealed documents was made public. Following the release, the Court Listener website experienced a crash due to the overwhelming public interest. However, The Gateway Pundit managed to secure a backup of this crucial information. Three individuals, known in the court documents as Doe 105, Doe 107, and Doe 110, have made appeals. Documents related to Does 105, 107, and 110-110 are being withheld. Here is a compilation of some names featured in the...

Convicted ballot harvester, Gloria Torres, has been appointed as the new Vice Mayor of San Luis, Arizona. Torres, who was appointed during the regular city council meeting on December 13, pleaded guilty to ballot abuse in June 2023. Torres and Nadia Guadalupe Lizarraga-Mayorquin a/k/a Nadia Buchanan were indicted in October 2022, on two Class 6 felonies of conspiracy and ballot abuse stemming from a two-year long investigation by the Arizona Attorney General’s Office with assistance from the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office. The ballot harvesting activities were exposed by two Yuma County men, David Lara, and Gary Garcia Snyder, through hidden...

Stop with the salt: adding a dash of water to coffee beans before grinding them could be the secret to a better-tasting cup of caffeinated goodness, new research suggests. The trick boils down to reducing the amount of static electricity generated by grinding whole coffee beans, which otherwise causes them to clump together and clog up the grinder, creating a whole lot of mess and waste. Coffee buffs have long been spritzing their beans to moisten them before grinding. Now scientists have confirmed what makes sparks fly in ground coffee beans – and shown how budding baristas can reduce that...

Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is vowing to withdraw his name from the Colorado primary ballot unless former President Trump is reinstated following the state's historic Supreme Court ruling on Tuesday declaring him ineligible for office. "This is what an *actual* attack on democracy looks like: in an un-American, unconstitutional, and *unprecedented* decision, a cabal of Democrat judges are barring Trump from the ballot in Colorado," Ramaswamy reacted on X. "Having tried every trick in the book to eliminate President Trump from running in this election, the bipartisan Establishment is now deploying a new tactic to bar him from ever...

The term “kafkatrapping” describes a logical fallacy that is popular within gender feminism, racial politics and other ideologies of victimhood. It occurs when you are accused of a thought crime such as sexism, racism or homophobia. You respond with an honest denial, which is then used as further confirmation of your guilt. You are now trapped in a circular and unfalsifiable argument; no one who is accused can be innocent because the structure of kafkatrapping precludes that possibility. The term derives from Franz Kafka’s novel The Trial in which a nondescript bank clerk named Josef K. is arrested; no charges...

This comes from the Harvard-Harris poll that everyone is talking about. Polls in general should be taken with a grain of salt and the HH polls have had horrific numbers lately. Still, this is reflective of a generational trend. The numbers may not be this bad in real life, but they’re bad. 73% of voters agreed that the Hamas attacks of Oct 7 were “genocidal” and that they could not be justified. The numbers get worse though as you go down generationally. 40% of 35-44 year olds believed that the attacks could be justified and 60% of 18-24 year olds...

There never has been an independent, self-governed national entity called "Palestine." In Biblical times, the region now encompassing Israel was known as Canaan, which included the kingdoms of Israel and Judah. The term "Palestine" originally referred to a small area occupied by the Philistines (as one theory has it), from whence comes the name "Palestine." In Roman times, the area was known as Judea and was ruled by Jewish kings, and, under the Roman Emperor Constantine, became a Christian province generally known in Europe simply as "The Holy Land." The name "Palestine" was not legally applied until the British occupation...

Former President Donald Trump mocked Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' debate against California Gov. Gavin Newsom, dubbing it the 'Battle of Loserville,' as DeSantisworld sources say the governor's 2024 campaign is running out of steam. After midnight on Truth Social Friday, Trump shared a dubbed 'Battle of Loserville' video, with moderator Sean Hannity asking DeSantis, 'Have you ever betrayed the greatest president who ever lived, President Donald J. Trump.' Senior campaign aides are feeling gloomy about their chances in the upcoming primary, which kicks off with the Iowa caucuses on January 15. 'People increasingly think it's over,' a person close to...

This week was a sad awakening for me. I attended a discussion group regarding the situation in the Mideast at my synagogue. Of the ten attendees I was the only one to express concern about the level of anti-Semitism which was occurring around the USA. Others that spoke expressed their concern about the aggressiveness of the Israeli government and negative treatment of Arabs. I entered the room somewhat depressed that so many people will die because of the Oct 7th attack but left even more upset. ... I was not prepared for the level of Jewish support for the Palestinian...

Medicare Advantage provides health coverage to more than half of the nation's seniors, but a growing number of hospitals and health systems nationwide are pushing back and dropping some or all contracts with the private plans altogether. Among the most commonly cited reasons are excessive prior authorization denial rates and slow payments from insurers. Some systems have noted that most MA carriers have faced allegations of billing fraud from the federal government and are being probed by lawmakers over their high denial rates. "It's become a game of delay, deny and not pay,'' Chris Van Gorder, president and CEO of...
