The FIM regrets to inform the motorcycling community of the recent passing of Nikolai Krasnikov, a former and multiple FIM Ice Speedway World Champion, following a tragic road traffic accident whilst travelling in a car. Born on 4th February 1985 in Ufa, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union – Nikolai rightfully earned his place as legend on the frozen ovals with him winning the FIM Ice Speedway World Championship for eight consecutive years from 2005 to 2012 inclusive.
