IMMOKALEE, Fla., - Authorities in Florida said a Burger King employee fired during an argument with his boss allegedly threatened the manager with a knife. Collier County sheriff's deputies said the manager of the Immokalee eatery told them Nicholas Trejo, 21, asked for time off in mid-May for a family emergency, and the manager responded it would not be possible to pre-plan if it was a true emergency, the Naples (Fla.)
