James Alex Fields Jr. was found guilty on Friday of killing Heather Heyer when he plowed his car into a group of counterprotesters last year at a "Unite the Right" rally that quickly turned violent in Charlottesville, Virginia. Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents apprehended a previously deported murderer who illegally re-entered the U.S. about one month following his deportation. Agents assigned to the Laredo Sector conducted an extensive search for a suspected illegal alien who absconded from arrest on November 10. Early Sunday morning, agents found the suspect near the Interstate 35 mile marker 31 location and took him into custody. Information obtained by Breitbart News from Laredo Sector Border Patrol officials revealed that the agents determined the suspect to be a Mexican national with no legal basis to be in the U.S.

A Mexican citizen charged in a Missouri triple murder was previously jailed and released in New Jersey on domestic violence charges. Luis Rodrigo Perez, 23, was being held at the Middlesex County Jail in December of last year on domestic violence charges. But the county did not honor a detainer from U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE), John Tsoukaris, head of the agency's Newark field office, said in a news statement Friday. He said Perez was released from the jail in February 2018, without ICE being notified.

Border Patrol agents assigned to the Rio Grande Valley Sector arrested a Salvadoran migrant who illegally crossed the border with his minor son and a large group of families. Court records indicate the man is wanted for murder in South Carolina. McAllen Station agents came upon a large group of families and unaccompanied minors who had just crossed the border illegally on Saturday near Hidalgo, Texas. Police said Cristhian Rivera is an undocumented immigrant and has lived in the Poweshiek County, Iowa, area for about four to seven years. He is originally from Mexico, but police did not say when he moved to the United States, according to The Associated Press. Rivera has been working in the area, but details about where he worked have also not been released. Rivera is originally from Guayabillo, Guerrero, Mexico. A San Bernardino woman said Saturday that she had to drive herself to the hospital and give birth without her husband after he was detained by immigration agents. Maria del Carmen Venegas said she and her husband, Joel Arrona Lara, were driving to the hospital Wednesday when they stopped for gas in San Bernardino.
