A San Francisco man with convictions in high-profile arson cases, including one in which he burned the body of a sexual partner, was arrested this week on suspicion of attempted murder as well as several counts of arson, authorities said.

Old saying:
Build a man a fire and he will be warm for an hour light a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.
Diaz! He’s Hispanic, probably illegal as well. He will be turned loose.
And yet they released him after earlier conviction.
Portrero Hill is often described as being remarkably similar to Gilligan’s Island:
people have been known to be stranded there for years, having to fashion bikini tops out of coconut husks, for example.
often SOS is written out there in discarded condoms, in an attempt to signal for help from passing airplanes and helicopters.
If this was presented as fiction nobody would believe it.
He was probably traumatized by the harsh sentence meted out by San Francisco justice.
He’s not a ‘SF man’ even though they allege he is
“Though the jury came back with an arson conviction, Judge Donald Sullivan set it aside over prosecutors objections, noting that Diaz had no previous criminal record and was unlikely to set another fire.”
Probably the same judge that let the illegal alien killer of Kate Steinle off as he only found the gun and accidentally pulled the trigger.
These feel good judges need to serve the same sentence as the criminals they let loose to walk our streets.
