A careful monitoring of the media today confirms that Rep. Cummings died from "complications arising from long-standing ill health." As you wouldn't accept that as a cause of death for a loved one, as a life insurance underwriter would never accept those words to approve a payout, and as a police detective would never accept those inappropriate and vague words from a coroner... What do they mean? "complications arising from long-standing ill health." Like Napoleon? Al Capone? Lenin? Lincoln? Just wondering. Our revered hero who did everything - made so many friends, spoke out, was so corurageous, crossed the aisle,...

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) teed off against the House impeachment inquiry on Tuesday, marking his first comments since Congress returned from its two-week break. "House Democrats are finally indulging in their impeachment obsession. Full steam ahead," McConnell said during a speech from the Senate floor, adding that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) had "crumbled" to the "left-wing impeachment caucus." "I don't think many of us were expecting to witness a clinic in terms of fairness or due process. But even by their own partisan standards, House Democrats have already found new ways to lower the bar," McConnell added.

Text of a Letter from the Counsel to the Vice President to Chairman Cummings, Chairman Engel and Chairman Schiff October 15, 2019 Dear Chairmen: The Office of the Vice President has received the Committees’ Letter to the Vice President, dated October 4, 2019, which requests a wide-ranging scope of documents, some of which are clearly not vice-presidential records, pursuant to a self-proclaimed “impeachment inquiry.” As noted in the October 8, 2019 letter from the White House Counsel to each of you and to Speaker Nancy Pelosi, I the purported “impeachment inquiry” has been designed and implemented in a manner that...

A 2-year-old boy was shot in the stomach in a "cowardly, violent act" of apparent road rage in Baltimore, authorities said. "You shot a child. Whoever you thought you were shooting at, you didn't shoot," Baltimore Police Commissioner Michael Harrison said. The 2-year-old, who had been in the car with his family, was taken to the hospital in "somewhat stable condition" and is expected to survive, police said Saturday. The boy remained in the hospital Monday morning as the suspected shooter, Javon Johnson, 33, was charged, said police. It's believed the suspect's car and the victim's car were among those...

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Maryland state lawmaker Tawanna Gaines, a Democrat from Prince George's County, has abruptly resigned after being suspected of using money she raised for her reelection campaign for personal use. She submitted her resignation to House Speaker Adrienne Jones on Friday, Oct. 4. She now faces a federal wire fraud charge. Gaines, 67, has served in the Maryland House of Delegates since 2001 and, according to the AP, defrauded her campaign and its contributors of more than $22,000 from at least January 2015 through April 2018. "After much thought and consideration, I have decided to submit...

Ilhan Omar praised corrupt California for moving ahead with a bill to ban private prisons. The new legislation would come into effect after the 2020 presidential election “on or after January 1, 2020” and would prohibit California’s government from “entering into or renewing a contract with a private, for-profit prison to incarcerate state inmates.” Where will they put these people? They don’t care as long as it’s not in prison. The attack on private prisons is an attack on ICE detention. This is an important step. No one should profit from putting human beings in cages — especially in a...

Republicans on the House Oversight Committee are calling on their Democratic colleagues to provide more details about a series of trips taken to Mexico while staff were touring border detention facilities, amid reports that at least one Democrat has been involved in “coaching” migrants there on how to exploit U.S. immigration law. In a letter to Chairman Elijah Cummings, D-Md., obtained by Fox News, ranking member Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, said there were at least two committee staff trips into Mexico in August — one of which required Border Patrol agents to provide a special escort back into the U.S. “Although...

Independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders enlisted the services of far-left activist Linda Sarsour to campaign for him this week as he seeks the Democratic presidential nomination. Sanders tweeted Sarsour’s remarks in a video that went viral Friday night and Saturday morning. Sarsour has come under fire for her harsh criticism of Israel, defense of Sharia Law, and refusal to condemn Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. She has also been accused by Jewish organizations of holding anti-Semitic views.

With the number of murders in Baltimore quickly approaching 300 (as it’s done annually for the past several years) and the total number of shootings nearing 700, interim Mayor Jack Young took a meeting with Governor Larry Hogan this week to ask for help. His Police Commissioner also attended. While everyone agreed that the subject was important and the meeting was productive, it remains to be seen what more the state can actually do if leaders in Baltimore aren’t willing to take steps to help themselves. (Baltimore Sun) Baltimore’s mayor and police commissioner met for more than an hour...

House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) is asking four other top committee leaders to share any documents or materials they think could be related to his committee’s investigation into possible obstruction and potential abuses of power by President Trump. In a letter on Thursday, Nadler wrote to Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), Oversight and Reform Chairman Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), Financial Services Chairwoman Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) and Foreign Affairs Chairman Eliot Engel (D-N.Y.) to ask them to provide such information as Nadler's committee weighs whether to introduce articles of impeachment against the president. "I am writing to request information, including documents...

A couple of years ago, the city of Baltimore launched a pilot program (no pun intended) that involved having a private contractor fly a surveillance plane over the city almost constantly, recording high-resolution video of the activity on the streets. It was surprisingly successful, resulting in police being able to retrace the movements of people engaged in shootings and other crimes back to their homes or to their post-crime destinations. The public wasn’t initially informed of the program and when word leaked out there were complaints from the usual digital privacy advocates. The program was eventually terminated. This year, however, the...

Maryland school officials are developing curriculum standards for history classes to include lessons about the fight for civil rights for the LGBT community and Americans with disabilities. If the changes are approved, Maryland would join at least four other states that have taken steps to require public schools to teach lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history, which advocates say has long been absent from textbooks and classroom lessons. Last month, dozens of state lawmakers signed a letter calling on Maryland school officials to craft new curriculum standards addressing the rights of LGBT and disabled communities. The letter specifically mentioned the...

NBC over the weekend pushed gun control repeatedly, casually dismissing calls for focusing culpability on the perpetrators of mass shooters as simply a talking point of “gun control opponents.” The Today show also touted using children to promote the gun control agenda. On Sunday, reporter Mike Viqueira sounded annoyed that Donald Trump would blame the shooters: “At his New Hampshire rally, Thursday, no mention of checks on criminal records, only for mental health history. The President echoing a familiar argument of gun control opponents.” He then played a clip of Trump noting, “It’s not the gun that pulls the trigger....

Democrats who keep telling us that vote fraud is rare and insignificant fight like hell to make sure the evidence remains buried — even when there are obvious danger signs such as exists in Montgomery County, Maryland, where there are more registered voters than resident citizens. You might think officials would be anxious to find out why that is and would be eager to clean up their voter rolls. But Maryland officials fought in federal court to prevent Judicial Watch from obtaining voter data lists. And they got skunked. Judicial Watch announced that a federal court has ordered the State...

President Trump on Friday morning gloated that the Baltimore home of House Oversight Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) had been burglarized. Nikki Haley, the former South Carolina governor who in December stepped down as Trump’s U.N. ambassador, did not approve. “This is so unnecessary,” she tweeted, along with a rolling-eyes emoiji.

Crazy Bernie Sanders recently equated the City of Baltimore to a THIRD WORLD COUNTRY! Based on that statement, I assume that Bernie must now be labeled a Racist, just as a Republican would if he used that term and standard! The fact is, Baltimore can be brought back, maybe...... ....even to new heights of success and glory, but not with King Elijah and that crew. When the leaders of Baltimore want to see the City rise again, I am in a very beautiful oval shaped office waiting for your call!

Jake Tapper had an elephant in the room in the form of Bernie Sanders on Sunday's CNN State of the Union and very noticeably avoided addressing his hypocrisy in slamming President Donald Trump for tweeting critically about the living conditions in Baltimore. In 2015, Sanders made very similar remarks as Trump about Baltimore, comparing it to a Third World country filled with hundreds of uninhabitable buildings. So could Tapper have been unaware of the socialist Senator from Vermont's criticisms of Baltimore? Perhaps but only if he had been hiding under a rock for the past couple of days. The Sanders...
