A pair of state Senate candidates are returning campaign donations from a casino owner indicted on felony tax evasion charges. Assemblyman Leland Yee, D-San Francisco, returned $6,500 in contributions from Lucky Chances owner Renato Medina. Former San Mateo County Supervisor Mike Nevin returned $3,500 he received from Medina. Yee and Nevin are campaigning for the Democratic nomination for state Senate in California's eighth district.
