An Arkansas father is facing a potential murder charge after reportedly shooting and killing a man in his 60s who was found in a vehicle with his missing 14-year-old daughter. According to a release from the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded Oct. 8 to reports of a missing juvenile in the county, which is located about 75 miles north of Hot Springs. King told local ABC affiliate KATV news that the truck wouldn't properly shift into park, so Brittain went to the back of the truck with a jug of antifreeze to prop behind a truck's tire so that it wouldn't roll backward and strike Davis' vehicle. LONOKE COUNTY, Ark. — Lonoke County Sheriff John Staley announced through a Facebook video Thursday that Sergeant Mike Davis, the officer involved in the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Hunter Brittain, was fired due to policy violations.Staley said that the deputy's bodycam was not turned on during last week's traffic stop that resulted in the shooting death of Brittain.
