Round 3 -- Saturday, April 10

Fifteen jurors, four of whom are Black and two of whom are multiracial, were chosen during a weeks-long jury selection process earlier this month. The trial is expected to span two to four weeks at the heavily secured Hennepin County Government Center in downtown Minneapolis, after which the jury will launch into deliberations. Judge Peter Cahill is limiting attendees in the courtroom due to COVID-19 concerns and is allowing for the proceedings to be televised, a rarity in the state.

President Biden holds his first official news conference since taking office.

Donald Trump will be the keynote speaker at CPAC this year and will address the attendees in Orlando on Sunday afternoon. Mr Trump is expected to take to the stage at around 3:40pm (EST) on Sunday, where he is rumoured to announce plans to run for president in 2024.

WASHINGTON — Former President Donald Trump’s lawyers are rebutting the case made by House impeachment managers as they take their turn to present arguments on day four of his trial. The former president’s defense team has 16 hours to make their case but lead impeachment lawyer David Shoen said they would likely only use three to four hours to present their arguments.
