It’s well known that left-wing Soviet leader Joseph Stalin was a psychopath, a dark status that led to his exterminating 20 million human beings. Yet the people who help vault such tyrants to power — sometimes pejoratively called “useful idiots” — are well-meaning but naive sorts, right? Perhaps not always. In fact, a new study informs, Stalin has much psychopathic (and narcissistic) company among leftists, including among today’s variety. Moreover, the researchers found that authoritarian-minded left-wingers often don’t care a whit about the altruism and “social justice” they trumpet, but instead “use political activism to endorse or exercise violence against...

AT&T spokeswoman launches into leftist social justice rant (Credit: TikTok/Twitter) In 2019, Gillette decided that it needed to pile-drive its customer base with a “men are terrible” message. They ran an ad campaign with the ostensible message that “toxic masculinity” was bad, and they did it by nuking every man alive or dead. Toxic anything is bad. I don’t need a razor company lecturing during the Super Bowl, while it places me in the same company of jerks just because some men are jerks. Gillette wasn’t advertising a product, rather, it was lecturing its customer base. The “message” didn’t...

Support for left-wing parties has collapsed in Berlin after elections were re-run in the city on Sunday over “errors” in the previous ballot. An election re-run in the German capital of Berlin has seen support for the political right surge, with the centrist Christian Democratic Union (CDU) seeing a seismic ten-point rise over the previous ballot. Although the city had already seen elections take place in 2021, numerous “errors” and other anomalies in the voting process eventually resulted in the ballot being struck down in court, with the vote finally being re-run on Sunday.

Isn't our voice equal?" The activists are currently seeking to be allowed to demonstrate...

CBS News, a far-left propaganda outlet that spreads lies and conspiracy theories, is deliberately deceiving its readers about the reported motive behind the hit-and-run murder of an 18-year-old North Dakota man. In the immediate wake of His Fraudulency Joe Biden declaring 65 million Trump supporters threats to America, 41-year-old Shannon Brandt deliberately ran down teenager Cayler Ellingson over a “political argument,” according to police reports. Police add that on the 911 call, Brandt accused the teenager of being “part of a Republican extremist group and [Brandt claimed] that he was afraid they were ‘coming to get him.'”

Representative Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that he will help “left-wing Democrats” win over Republicans who he believes do not respect democracy. Anchor Chuck Todd asked, “I’m curious. Liz Cheney said in some cases. She may have to help a diagram win against an anti-democracy Republican win. Do you feel that is what you will be doing the next couple of years or so?”

Founded in 2006, the Institute for Strategic Dialogue is a London-based nonprofit with a stated purpose of "safeguarding human rights and reversing the rising tide of polarisation [sic], extremism, and disinformation worldwide." The group previously worked with the Obama administration, combating "violent extremism," and their website lists critical topics most vulnerable to fake news and hate speech, which include:Electoral, climate, and public health disinformationConspiracy networksFar-right extremismLGBTQIslamophobiaA recent blog posted to the ISD website discussed a "hate-riddled public health disinformation campaign" where social media users identified monkeypox as almost exclusively (if not entirely) spread by homosexual male relations and questioned how...

In a June 25 tweet, Canadian pollster John Corbett wrote, "Clarence Thomas: Just another dumb field n*gger" from an account that was almost immediately suspended. Advertisement Adam B. Coleman, author and The Post Millennial contributor, posted a screenshot of the hateful and racist remark on Twitter and wrote, "He says n*gger with such ease. These are the self righteous people who see black people as either an acceptable n*gger or a "field n*gger"... Either way, we'll always be n*ggers to @johnVcorbett because our purpose is to serve a master."

Leftists like Bill Maher complain about the ridiculous ends of their own beliefs while refusing to reconsider them.Left-wing comedian Bill Maher’s name was on conservative commentators’ lips again this weekend after the TV host suggested some children claim to be the opposite sex because “it’s trendy.” “If we can admit that in certain enclaves there is some level of trendiness to the idea of being anything other than straight, then this is not a serious science-based discussion,” Maher said on his show Friday. “We’re literally experimenting on children,” he added. National Review cheered Maher’s comments, figuring that “Bill Maher is...

Like most people with any shred of decency, I was quite pleased (though also quite surprised) by the recent SCOTUS leak that suggests that the highest court may well overturn Roe v. Wade. If this ends up taking place (and so far, the conservative justices have indicated that the attempted bullying by the Left isn’t working), it’s exciting for a number of reasons. Obviously, the fact that defederalising abortion and placing it back into the purview of the states - where it belongs - will result in many, many little babies’ lives being saved. But what I’d like to discuss...

On Saturday afternoon, 18-year old Payton Gendron allegedly shot several people, killing 10 at a Tops Friendly Market located in a predominantly Black neighborhood in Buffalo, New York. He has been arrested and arraigned on 10 first-degree murder charges. Trends over Twitter to do with Gendron's motives included "Great Replacement" and "Tucker Carlson," as some took to blaming the Fox News host for the shooting. It's worth emphasizing, though, that the suspect's own manifesto not only included no mentions of Carlson, but attacked 21st Century Fox for hiring Jewish people. The suspect expressed many anti-Semitic views, from what screenshots and...

Saturday Night Live opened tonight with something a little different: The show went back to the 13th century England to mock Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito’s leaked draft opinion that threatens to overturn Roe V. Wade. The skit opened with a narrator announcing that Alito explained that “no woman has a right to an abortion and abortion is a crime.” He cites a treatise from the 13th century about the quickening of the foetus, and a second treatise that says that if the quick child dieth in her body, it would a great misprision. We go then to that profound...

The United States are in a tricky position right now and everybody knows it. The level of social division continues to rise and all of us, in some way or another, feel a tension that we all know isn’t going to be released merely by voting harder. Simply put, there are overwhelmingly powerful civil disjunctions that the normal methods of politicking simply will not resolve. A good model for understanding what is happening right now is to look back in time to the Classical Greek and Hellenistic eras. At one point or another, just about every polis had to deal...

German Federal Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser says children in kindergarten should be taught about the dangers of right-wing extremism, but she didn’t mention left-wing extremism or Islam.“We have to smash right-wing extremist networks,” Faeser told the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper. “The state of law must not accept calls for murder and threats.” The minister went on to assert that children as young as three years old should be socially engineered to be averse to right-wing radicalism. “We are resolutely combating this breeding ground for violence, but the fight against right-wing extremism starts much earlier, namely with good educational...

Authoritarianism has been the subject of scientific inquiry for nearly a century, yet the vast majority of authoritarianism research has focused on right-wing authoritarianism. In the present studies, we investigate the nature, structure, and nomological network of left-wing authoritarianism (LWA), a construct famously known as “the Loch Ness Monster” of political psychology. We iteratively construct a measure and data-driven conceptualization of LWA... We find that LWA, right-wing authoritarianism, and social dominance orientation reflect a shared constellation of personality traits, cognitive features, beliefs, and motivational values that might be considered the “heart” of authoritarianism. Still, relative to right-wing authoritarians, left-wing authoritarians...

The left-wing Politico has been sold to a German company for a ridiculous $1 billion. The Washingtonian reported that the Virginia-based news outlet is being sold for a whopping $1 billion to Axel Springer SE. The two entities had reportedly“been joint venture partners since 2014” when Politico Europe was launched, according to Business Wire. But the company is plagued with bias. Axel Springer Chairman and CEO Mathias Döpfner falsely accused President Donald Trump of being behind the Jan. 6 Capitol Hill riot by saying he “call[ed] for a coup against democratic institutions.” Even more damning was Döpfner’s op-ed in 2017,...

In 2000, Google began using “don’t be evil” as its unofficial motto. That pledge, shared internally among employees, rightly acknowledged that any company trusted with vast amounts of personal information ought to maintain the trust and confidence of the people the company claims to serve. Google believed that the public could count on it to do the right thing. Two decades later, while Google has gained power beyond anything the company’s founders could have imagined, it has long since departed from its original commitment to ethical behavior. Indeed, Google attempts to de-platform conservative voices, it has helped China oppress vulnerable...

This morning, Leslie McAdoo Gordon published her first article here at RedState, drawing on her decades of legal expertise to compare and contrast the prosecutions stemming from January 6th to how the DOJ has handled nearly identical cases in the past. To put it lightly, the dual system of justice in this country is alive and well, and regardless of how hysterical one might be about January 6th, arbitrary enforcement of “justice” is objectively a terrible thing that is both dangerous and crushes confidence in our institutions. After going through several specific cases, McAdoo Gordon came to this conclusion. It...

Twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, citing the opinion of over 100 “democracy scholars,” warned that the very “survival of American Democracy” could depend on Democrats passing legislation that would effectively loosen election safeguards by stripping states of their authority to impose basic election integrity measures, such as requiring voter ID and restricting vote by mail. “Over a hundred democracy scholars warn that the survival of American democracy could depend on passing national voting rights protections over the next few months,” Clinton said, linking to a Washington Post op-ed titled, “A frantic warning from 100 leading experts: Our democracy is in...
