Meretz minister Esawi Frej says Labor leader Merav Michaeli’s ‘delusions of grandeur’ brought about the center-left’s electoral downfall Left-wing politicians were reacting with horror and dismay on Wednesday to the decisive electoral victory of the right-wing, religious bloc in the general election, expressing extreme concern in particular over the strong influence the far-right Religious Zionism party will likely wield in the next government. And recriminations among left-wing parties for their poor showing in the election had also begun, with Regional Cooperation Minister Esawi Frej of the Meretz party blaming the leader of the Labor party, Transportation Minister Merav Michaeli, for...

Apparently it doesn't take much for Twitter engineering manager Jay Holler to be "broken." In his case, Holler whined that Elon Musk has "broken" him simply by buying the shares of Twitter stock and being named to its board of directors. Although Holler thinks that is what has broken him it is really the reaction to his petty whining that could break Holler into a thousand little pieces. Let us start with Hollers pathetic whine on Twitter about being broken by Musk upon finding out he is the largest single shareholder of the company.

Hillary Clinton returned to Washington DC Thursday. As AP detailed yesterday, she strangely used the occasion of Sen. Harry Reid’s portrait unveiling to air a grievance over so-called “fake news” and called for legislation to combat it. Isn’t it a little tacky to use a speech that’s supposed to be about honoring your colleague on his big retirement day to whine about your big, humiliating loss from four weeks ago? (TWEET-AT-LINK) Did I miss something? Was yesterday Festivus or something? Be that as it may, there was a remarkable display on Capitol Hill as the former Secretary of State walked...

So he won. The nation takes a deep breath. Raw ego and proud illiteracy have won out and a severely learning-disabled man with a real character problem will be president. We are so exhausted from thinking about this election, millions of people will take up leaf-raking and garage cleaning with intense pleasure. We liberal elitists are wrecks. The Trumpers had a whale of a good time, waving their signs, jeering at the media, beating up protesters, chanting "Lock her up" -- we elitists just stood and clapped. Nobody chanted "Stronger Together." It just doesn't chant.

The Cornell Daily Sun reports that students hosted a “Cry In” on the quad Wednesday in the wake of the presidential election results. “I’m quite terrified, honestly,” one student told the campus newspaper as she took part in the event. “It’s saying that people are really given into fear-mongering. They are willing to put people down based on their identity just so that they would feel vindicated that they would be getting rid of ‘Crooked Hillary.'” Another participant told the Sun many are in “shock” as she sipped on a Starbucks coffee cup, sitting cross-legged in the institution’s Ho Plaza....

The Democratic candidate said she hoped Donald Trump would make a good President despite the "painful" loss. Her voice cracking, she said: "I know how disappointed you feel because I feel it too. This is painful and it will be for a long time." Speaking today in New York, she said: "Last night I congratulated Donald Trump and offered to work with him on behalf of our country. I hope that he will be a successful President on behalf of all Americans. I am sorry we did not win this election for the values we share and the vision we...

The front page of the left-leaning Huffington Post didn’t shy away from what its publishers thought about Tuesday’s election. Stark, bold letters emblazoned on HuffPo's homepage screamed, “Mourning in America: NIGHTMARE: Prez Trump... America Elected A Man Who Said ‘Grab Them By The Pu**y’ Over The First Female President... Party Ends In Tears...” Poor HuffPo seemed downright stunned that any voter would choose Trump over Clinton and her “history-making story arc.” HuffPo was just one of a slew of liberal media outlets losing their minds over Republican presidential nominee – and now President-elect—Donald Trump’s victory over Democratic rival Hillary Clinton...

“We have seen that our nation is more deeply divided that we thought,” she added.

Republican Donald Trump’s victory in Tuesday’s presidential election left some local Hillary Clinton supporters stunned, but Democratic elected officials tried to maintain a positive attitude as they looked to the future. "Let me just speak for a moment from my heart, because I know for a lot of people tonight, your heart is heavy," Mayor Eric Garcetti told Clinton supporters in downtown Los Angeles Tuesday night. "I know it is in the little girls who I talked to this morning who joined their mothers and fathers at the ballot box to try to change history. I know it’s in the...
