<p>PENSACOLA, Florida (CNN) -- A judge Thursday threw out the convictions of two teenage boys found guilty of beating their father to death with a baseball bat.</p>
<p>The ruling by Circuit Judge Frank Bell was just the latest twist in a case that has already tested legal precedent.</p>
