Hours after three shootings resulted in a trooper shot and the suspect killed, police have released additional details about the shooter. Dauphin County District Attorney Ed Marsico identified the shooter as 51-year-old Ahmed Aminamin El-Mofty at a news conference late Friday night. Authorities have arrested a 26-year-old man connected to the Islamic State (ISIS) who was allegedly plotting a terrorist attack in San Francisco over the Christmas holiday. The FBI reports that they arrested Everitt Aaron Jameson, a truck driver from Modesto, California.
