PARADISE VALLEY, Arizona -- Can you imagine getting 65,000 text messages after just one date? An Arizona woman is accused of doing just that. And it didn't end there. An Arizona woman who allegedly sent 159,000 text messages to a man and broke into his home after they went on a single date believes a jury will find her innocent. Jacqueline Ades was found mentally incompetent to stand trial in March. But she wants a jury to hear her case, believing they will even order her to marry the man. 'They're going to say, "You're not guilty and on top of it we, like, demand that you two get married,"' Ades told The Arizona Republic in a new jailhouse interview.

According to police documents obtained by the Arizona Republic, Jacqueline Ades allegedly sent the man the messages over the span of nearly 10 months. She had originally been accused of sending him more than 65,000 text messages but the number was reportedly more than double that. The arrest records listed the woman as “showing signs of mental illness,” the newspaper reported. Ades reportedly met the victim, a Paradise Valley man...
