SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - A man who owns a string of adult novelty stores from Missouri to Utah was sentenced to 30 days in jail Monday for selling a sexually explicit video to a minor who had been sent into the shop by police. John Haltom, 36, of Lincoln, Neb., was also fined $2,000. Haltom was convicted in March of selling the video to the 17-year-old daughter of a police official. She had been sent into Doctor John's Lingerie and Novelty Boutique in suburban Midvale. Haltom's sentencing had been delayed until he finished a jail term on obscenity...
