    MEMPHIS — Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Harold Ford Jr. issued a statement this morning calling on U.S. Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., to apologize for comments that Republicans including President Bush contend disparage U.S. troops in Iraq. “Whatever the intent, Senator Kerry was wrong to say what he said,” Rep.
