A fake video purported to show war ravaged Aleppo days after government forces retook control has led authorities to a group of filmmakers who have been arrested for the ruse in a demolition site in Port Said. Two children an eight-year-old girl, and a 12-year-old boy appeared in the footage. The group confessed to making the video with the intention of distributing it on social media. The filmmaker, his assistants and the parents of two children were detained after officers passing by the site spotted a child covered in what was later revealed to be red paint.

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. (WNCN) — The Republican Party headquarters in Orange County was vandalized and firebombed overnight, Hillsborough Police said Sunday afternoon. The building at 347 Ja-Max Drive was hit with graffiti and “flammable material” was thrown through a window starting a fire inside, police said in an email. Graffiti that said “Nazi Republicans leave town or else” was spray painted in black paint on the side of a building next to the Republican headquarters, according to police. That graffiti, which was also at 353 Ja-Max Drive, included a swastika and was discovered before 9 a.m. by a nearby business owner,...

Baghdad Wakes to Sounds of Helicopters, Talk of a People’s 'Revolt' Sharon Behn May 21, 2016 4:58 AM BAGHDAD— Baghdad woke Saturday to the early morning sounds of helicopters flying overhead, most of them heading in and out of the fortified International Zone after protesters defied bullets and tear gas to storm the area. As they fled the gunfire and tear gas Friday afternoon, some carrying their injured friends across the bridge away from the IZ, the anti-government protesters vowed they would return – but with weapons. Many are followers of Shi’ite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr who, like many of the...

The State Department says it has more than 81,000 state.gov emails from a top Clinton aide at the State Department despite the agency’s past claims that it did not have such records. The discrepancy, which has led to accusations that the State Department is either “lying” or “incompetent,” is laid out in the agency’s Aug. 13 response in a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by Gawker. In Sept. 2012, the website filed a FOIA request for emails Clinton aide Philippe Reines sent to reporters at various news agencies. The State Department responded in July 2013, saying that it found...

After the Clinton legal team had a chance to review the State Department cable traffic between Benghazi and Washington, the experts came to the conclusion that the cables proved that Hillary had in fact given specific instructions to beef up security in Libya, and that if those orders had been carried out — which they weren’t — they could conceivably have avoided the tragedy. Clearly, someone in the Obama administration dropped the ball — and the president was still insisting that it was not his fault. In the end, then, Hillary decided to assume responsibility to show that she was...

At the second presidential debate this week, Barack Obama finally appeared to man-up and acknowledge that, as president and commander in chief, he was responsible for the deaths of four Americans during the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi. After all, said the president, the secretary of state “works for me,” and as the top person in the administration’s chain of command, the buck stopped at him. In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, Fox News military analyst Colonel David Hunt laid the blame for the murder of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans at the Benghazi, Libya American mission on Hillary Clinton and the State Department: The State Department just allowed our guys to get killed. If you approve no bullets in guns for the mission security guards and an outhouse for a mission, you’re inviting it. Earlier, on Howie Carr's radio show Thursday, Colonel Hunt said that the American mission at Benghazi "was like a cardboard building, there wasn't even bullet proof glass." In...

President Obama’s campaign spokeswoman said that he “takes responsibility” for the security of U.S. diplomats, less than a day after Secretary of State Hillary Clinton took the blame. “President Obama takes responsibility for the safety and security of all diplomats serving overseas,” said Obama campaign spokeswoman Jen Psaki on Fox News today. “Secretary Clinton of course has a great amount of responsibility as Secretary of State.” Psaki denied that Clinton’s remarks were a “coordinated roll-out” to shelter Obama ahead of the debate, as Fox’s Shepard Smith suggested. “I take responsibility,” Clinton told CNN during a trip to Peru yesterday. “The...

LIMA, Peru –  U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton repeated on Tuesday her statement taking sole responsibility for security at all of America's diplomatic missions, an attempt to clear a political obstacle for her boss, President Barack Obama ahead of his second debate with Republican Mitt Romney."I take responsibility," Clinton said in a written statement. "I'm in charge of the State Department's 60,000-plus people all over the world (at) 275 posts."She would not answer questions on her statement. With only weeks before the presidential election, outrage has crystallized around Vice President Joe Biden's claim in last week's debate with...

Hillary Clinton is not a woman who falls on a sword for anyone...but she is someone who knows how to take center stage in the middle of a storm and loudly define herself as the only adult in the room...while all the men around her are emasculated and diminished by her presence. ] I love words and consider them tiny magical spells if strung together properly into well-crafted sentences. I’m a wordsmith and am fascinated by turns of phrase, especially ones that other conservative writers choose to use that I think are inappropriate in certain situations. Today, Ben Shapiro over...

Republican Senate Armed Services Committee members Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) and John McCain (R-AZ) slammed President Barack Obama’s administration after Secretary of State Hillary Clinton claimed the blame for the lack of security that lead to the death of the American ambassador in Libya on 9/11/12. The senators said that Clinton’s claim of full responsibility is a signal that “the White House is trying to avoid any responsibility whatsoever.” The senators say that Clinton’s claim of responsibility is laudable, but there is no way for the White House to escape ultimate responsibility for the failure of intelligence...

In fact, during the presidential debate, Vice President Biden said “We didn’t know.” …White House officials calling around saying “Hey, this is a state department function.”… Are they throwing you under the bus? The Transit Authority failed to follow state safety regulations for years by installing ceiling-to-floor turnstiles in subway stations - creating what critics call potential "deathtraps," the Daily News has learned. The revolving-door entrances and exits enabled the TA to close scores of token booths and prevent fare-beaters from entering stations by jumping over waist-high turnstiles. But the ceiling-to-floor turnstiles also could force riders to file out of stations one by one - a potential hazard during fires, terror attacks and other emergencies.
