The fate of the Executive Assistant of the City of Ithaca Planning and Development department is unknown, following charges she stole money from a Trumansburg baseball organization. Debbie Grunder, a 48-year-old Lansing resident, pleaded not guilty Monday to stealing $6,350 as treasurer of the Trumansburg Travel Baseball, a nonprofit summer league for players between 9 and 15. League Commissioner Jeff Ives said the organization’s budget is less than $5,000, according to the Ithaca Journal.
