As many of you know, the MLB players union and owners have come to an agreement that will avoid a strike this season. It is with deep regret to inform each of you that your have been given your unconditional release from the Houston FRAstros baseball club. I know how disappointed you all are (since some of you have drafted Hall of Fame induction speeches), but with no players strike, no replacement teams.

Unless the owners and players settle by Friday, looks like the strike in on. They are still squabbling over revenue sharing and luxury tax.
