Demonstrators today rolled out Palestine flags and hoisted balloons as crowds gathered to remember Holocaust victims at the March of the Living in Poland. Police sirens wailed as protesters held "Stop genocide in Gaza" banners directed at groups donning Israeli flags. Witnesses reported that some of them were also "chanting" at march participants, to which Israelis answered with passages from the Jewish unity anthem "'Am Israel chai".

More than 1,300 people have been arrested at pro-Palestinian protests on at least 40 college campuses across the U.S. over the last two weeks. Why it matters: University administrations have cracked down on student demonstrators in unprecedented ways as protests grow in size and intensity. The majority of arrests have occurred at encampments and sit-ins. Dozens of smaller-scale college protests haven't seen altercations between demonstrators and police. Protesters in Dearborn, Michigan, shouted "Death to America!" and "Death to Israel!" during an International Al-Quds Day rally held in the town. "Imam Khomeini, who declared the International Al-Quds Day, this is why he would say to pour all of your chants and all of your shouts upon the head of America," Tarek Bazzi, a Michigan-based activist associated with the Hadi institute, said in a video from the rally that was shared by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).
