After he called Warren “Pocahontas,” a local reporter shouted that she finds that offensive. Trump calls Warren "Pocahontas". Local ND reporter yells "that's very offensive". Trump says "ok". Then calls warren "Pocahontas" again. “She was able to get into various schools,” Trump alleged, saying that was because she applied as Native American. “I think she’s as Native American as I am.”

[...] Elizabeth Warren delivered an extensive, blistering speech last night about Trump that will serve as a template for how Democrats will attack him — both in terms of how they’ll prosecute his business past and how they’ll try to undercut his central arguments about the economy.

Last year at CPAC I asked Donald Trump what he thought about the prospect of Elizabeth Warren for president. He paused just long enough to blast a stare at me so riddled with disgust and nausea you would have thought Mexico had just annexed Mar-a-Lago through eminent domain. The man despises Warren. And so it was stunning that Tuesday morning, as Trump celebrated his victory in the Indiana primary clinching the Republican nomination, Warren greeted him with a vicious Twitter salvo: “@realdonaldtrump has built his campaign on racism, sexism, and xenophobia.”
