I didn't Watch the Emmys being too Politicized and I was Right. It's the same reason I don't watch ESPN. These venues have been hijacked by the Left and I am just not interested. Please Emmys, ESPN leave off the vicious campaigning as I'm only going to tolerate it during campaign season and not in these venues.

As for Sean Spicer.....few words are needed to describe his actions, like traitor, turncoat & political prostitute!!! Better description of Sean.... Gold chasing whore!!!

It’s hard to recall a season when Hollywood has been so harshly at odds with so much of its potential audience. On Wednesday, Robert Redford became the latest in a growing string of celebrities to pepper the summer/fall film promotions with reprimands and recrimination. “We’ve lost our moral foundation,” the Oscar winner told Esquire, speaking of the year-ago presidential election in an interview keyed to the upcoming Netflix release of Our Souls at Night, in which the small-minded gossips of small-town Colorado cluck at his senior moment with Jane Fonda. “We’re the ones who let that happen. We should be...

He might not have won the Republican nomination for president, but Jeb Bush stole the spotlight during the cold open at the 68th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday. The scene begins with Jimmy Kimmel trying to use Uber to hail a limo and finding Julia Louis-Dreyfus inside. Channeling her character from the critically acclaimed HBO series Veep!, Louis-Dreyfus tells Kimmel: 'We are so pleased that you're hosting tonight's Academy Awards.'

Bush appeared in the skit dressed as a limo driver hailed by Kimmel as he frantically sought a ride to the annual television awards show in downtown Los Angeles. "I'm in between jobs right now," says Bush, sporting a cap. "You know you can make $12 an hour driving for Uber?" He then asks Kimmel what it's like to be nominated -- a self-effacing nod to his failed bid for the Republican presidential nomination, which was eventually won by Donald Trump.

.....a bit starring Emmy host Jimmy Kimmel, who was being driven in O. J. Simson’s Ford Bronco, trying to get to the big show. But the edgy tone had been set. After hitching rides with the cast of Modern “Family” and James Corden, Kimmel wound up in a limo driven by former presidential candidate Jeb Bush. ...Upon learning Kimmel was nominated for an Emmy, Bush gave him some advice. “If you run a positive campaign, the voters will ultimately make the right choice,” Bush deadpanned before adding, “Jimmy, that was a joke, and shave that wig off your face you...

video: President Obama took on the role of television critic in remarks today at the Islamic Society of Baltimore."Our television shows should have some Muslim characters that are unrelated to national security," the president said at the mosque, "because -- it's not that hard to do. There was a time when there were no black people on television. And you can tell good stories while still representing the reality of our communities."

Transgenders have high levels of mental-health problems such as depression, resulting in increased levels of self-injury and suicidal ideation (thoughts, attempts, and rates), finds a September study from the highly respected Nottingham Centre for Gender Dysphoria in the United Kingdom. The center reviewed 31 papers to arrive at that conclusion. This is probably not the “trans civil rights problem” recent Emmy winner Jill Soloway meant when accepting her award for directing a comedy show sponsored by Amazon that features a transgender character. But statistics show it deserves to be. If we examine the medical definition of self-injury, we get...

During his opening monologue at the 2015 Emmy Awards Sunday on FOX, host Andy Samberg suggested Republican frontrunner Donald Trump might be racist.

2015 Emmys host Andy Samberg delivered the only Donald Trump take that matters Donald Trump has received an incredibly high level of media coverage compared to other presidential candidates. So much so that the Washington Post's John Sides and others have gone so far as to say we should blame (or credit) the media for Trump's high standing in the polls. But in his opening monologue for the Emmys, Andy Samberg delivered a brief joke that does a brilliant job illustrating what that account leaves out — the Trump coverage has largely been of Trump saying and doing horrible things.

During his opening monologue at the 2015 Emmy Awards Sunday on FOX, host Andy Samberg suggested Republican frontrunner Donald Trump might be racist. The former Saturday Night Live cast member delivered a series of one liners about industry diversity, sexism, ageism, and politics, including jokes about Trump and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). “Donald Trump, of course is running for president, to the delight of uncles everywhere. I’ve got to say, sure, Donald Trump seems racist—What else?” Samberg’s Bernie Sanders joke was more mild. The comedian said the Vermont socialist “always looks like his flight was delayed.” “The guy’s a mess,”...

Come On, How Hard Can It Possibly Be to Make a Good Awards Show? By Margaret Lyons Sing a song, dance a jig, tell a joke. Repeat. How hard can it possibly be to put together an awards show that is festive and not excruciating? Apparently harder than we think, given how the last few years have gone. While picking a good host is definitely part of engineering a good awards show, it's not the whole ball game — Neil Patrick Harris is a good host, certainly, but last night's Emmys left something to be desired. So here's a...

In life, he never won an Emmy, although nominated twice. In death he won’t receive one of the five separate special “In Memoriam” tributes during the Sunday, Sept. 22 awards ceremony on CBS.
