Monday, December 19th is a big day. On the first Monday after the second Wednesday in December (December 19, 2016), the electors meet in their respective States to cast their votes for President and Vice President of the United States. It's supposed to be when electors vote for the presidential and vice presidential candidate who won their state by earning the most votes from the people.
