What happened to Drudge? In the past, Drudge has been a fairly reliable source of news. However, in the last week, their featured headlines leads the reader to conclude Trump is done for. Thank God for Free Republic!

“Impeach Yourselves!" read the banner headline on Breitbart.com Wednesday morning, summing up what much of the right-wing news world thinks of the congressional impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump that had been launched the previous day. "The psychotic anti-Trump hysteria has now completely overtaken the entire Democratic Party," Fox News anchor and Trump booster Sean Hannity told nearly 4 million viewers Tuesday. "They think anytime a Republican is elected president, there must have been something 'illegitimate' going on," Kevin D. Williamson wrote in the National Review Thursday. So far, so typical. This is, after all, the umpteenth Trump scandal to...

This is the LAST straw. Matt Drudge's sirens and alarmist headlines promoting President Trump's impeachment is beyond sickening and pathetic! It appears Matt Drudge has now been totally co-opted by the Deep State. If you haven't yet done so, PLEASE REMOVE "Drudgereport.com" from your web browser's default home page setting. I obviously recommend either 'FreeRepublic.com' or 'TheLibertyDaily.com' as your new default home page setting. TheLibertyDaily.com web site is formatted similar to DrudgeReport and is actually far more informative and detailed. If you are looking for up-to-date headlines of daily news items in bullet-point format, TheLibertyDaily.com is a great replacement for...

Iconic conservative blogger Matt Drudge on Wednesday announced who he thought was going to be the Democratic nominee in 2020. Drudge, founder of the news aggregation site The Drudge Report, took to Twitter and shared an image from Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren's rally she held in New York City this week, which reportedly had 20,000 attendees. "It's Elizabeth Warren's nomination to lose..." Drudge tweeted.

The Drudge Report, once a go-to site for Trumpism, now seems unapologetically anti-Trump, in its often trademark snarky style.

Are Trump supporters then weary?

The August jobs report “unexpectedly” reminds us that never have so many Americans been at work. The 3.7 percent unemployment rate continues to be the lowest peacetime unemployment figure in 50 years. Black and Hispanic unemployment remain at record lows. Workers’ wages continue to rise. Talk of recession is belied by low interest, low inflation, low unemployment, and a strong stock market. The result is that millions of Americans enjoy far better lives than they had in 2016.

Then later that morning, 22 people died and 24 more were injured in the El Paso, Texas mass shooting. About 12 hours later, 10 died and 27 were injured in the Dayton,Ohio mass shooting. That’s when Drudge’s tone toward the president shifted. Among the upper-left headlines on August 5 was this one: “After pair of mass shootings, Trump remains out of sight . . .” August 6 featured a “Bubble Popping?”warning regarding the stock market and the U.S. economy in general—a key indicator of Trump’s re-election chances. August 8 included an upper-left Rasmussen poll showing only 47 percent approval for Trump—a relatively low number compared...

Self-help author Marianne Williamson was the most searched Democrat candidate during the second Democrat debate on Tuesday, according to Google Trends. Williamson beat out top candidates Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), and Mayor Pete Buttigieg. Williamson was also the top-searched candidate in 49 of 50 states, excluding Montana, where its governor, Steve Bullock, ranked higher. Williamson captivated viewers with her meandering and unconventional responses and phrases such as “dark psychic force” and “emotional turbulence.” At the last debate, she won attention for saying her plan to defeat President Trump was to “harness love.” She won some of...

TRUMP TURNS ON MAGA This is Drudge's top, giantsize headline at 6:55 this morning. The article it leads to never says that.

Unbelievable… just when I thought Drudge could not sink any lower… He is highlighting a four-year-old video that makes it look like Lindsey Graham is attacking President Donald Trump. The worm has completely turned on Drudge.

Indeed there are alternatives. Lucianne.com https://www.lucianne.com/ What Finger News https://www.whatfinger.com/ Free Republic Freerepublic.com Liberty Daily TheLibertyDaily.com *********************************** Don Surber Drudge Report is sludge Conservatives are now writing publicly what they had been saying privately: Matt Drudge has sold out. The latest to go public is Blaine Traber, who wrote, "Three reasons the Drudge Report is awful." Contrary to popular belief, it’s not conservative They love mainstream media sources The site is quietly becoming anti-Trump Traber is correct. What a sad, sad end to a promising web site. The Drudge Report broke the Monica Lewinsky story that Newsweek spiked. But that...

RUSH: I was perusing the Drudge page over the top of the hour break. Man, the Drudge page. Depending on the time you look at it, I mean, it makes it look like this country’s finished, we’re done, it’s over. You may as well forget about it and just enjoy your life. Well, let me give an example. Let me just give you these headlines. Ready? “U.S. Cities Overwhelmed with Illegals from Ebola Countries.” (Snort!) Do you know what Ebola is? If you’ve got it, you’re dead. There’s no cure for Ebola, particularly if it’s Ebola Zaire. You get that,...

When I was home, Before coming to The VA end of life hospice care at Togus, Augusta, Maine, I had a great alternative to drudge on my desktop, but on this lap top it is invisible. Does anyone know an alternative so that I can bookmark it on this laptop.

Has anyone else noticed that, lately, the Drudgereport seems to be chock full of stories about trannies and gay people? It's f'in annoying. I need a better secondary site (free republic being my primary, of course)

The Drudge Report blasted out its breaking news siren on Friday, reporting that an agreement has been reached to end the government shutdown. Matt Drudge‘s high-trafficked news aggregator reported that according to a source, a shutdown agreement has been reached, and that an announcement is set for 1 p.m. “SOURCE: SHUTDOWN AGREEMENT REACHED,” the Drudge headline blared. “ANNOUNCEMENT SET FOR 1 PM.” “GOVT TO REOPEN ‘TEMPORARILY’,” it added. The nearly six-week government shutdown appeared set to continue after two measures to reopen the government — one that would fund President Donald Trump’s border wall, and one did not — failed...

RUSH: All right. Let me see if I understand this right. Rudy Giuliani said (paraphrasing), “Wait a minute. I never said there wasn’t any collusion with the Russians. I said there wasn’t any collusion by Trump with the Russians. I never said there wasn’t any campaign collusion with the Russians.” So what’s going on here? Man, oh, man, I tell you. Greetings, my friends. Welcome. Great to have you. Rush Limbaugh, here behind the Golden EIB Microphone once again for three busy broadcast hours of excellence. 800-282-2882 if you want to be on the program, and the email address, ElRushbo@eibnet.us....

Ann Coulter, perhaps the most vocal Trump supporter pushing for a wall on the southern border, said on Wednesday the president will cave on his demand for a wall. In an interview with radio host Mark Simone, Coulter noted, “the president and I have had a little tiff.” She continued: “For one thing, he actually did shut down the government — though don’t worry, he will fold in the end.” Coulter decried the president last month after the senate passed a continuing resolution to stave off a government shutdown that didn’t allocate funding for a border wall. Trump reversed course...
