The effort to paint California gubernatorial candidate Larry Elder as a domestic abuser has failed. In reality, the whole thing was dead on the water – but as we have all learned, when a right-leaning candidate seems like they might defeat a Democrat in a high-profile race, you can always count on allegations of mistreating women. The Los Angeles Times reported that prosecutors “have declined to pursue a criminal complaint against Larry Elder for allegations of brandishing a gun and domestic abuse, in a 6-year-old case related to statements made by his former fiancée.”Los Angeles authorities refrained from pursuing a prosecution...

That was really hard.”Fox News host Dana Perino broke down into tears on Friday as she ended an interview with a...

The most violence-ridden cities in American are run by Democrats. Why then, should they be trusted to lead an entire nation of more than 330 million people? Democrats have recently joined forces in blaming President Trump of fanning the flames of violence. While this is nothing new, it is concerning evidence of a pattern among the left. More particularly, the party that seeks to lead the nation is unwilling to take responsibility for the misdeeds of its members and is always looking to blame others. Americans should not trust this party to lead them.As reported by The Hill, Rep. Karen...

At the height of New York’s coronavirus lockdown, domestic violence in the five boroughs skyrocketed, data show. When the pandemic first laid siege, experts predicted that mandatory lockdowns and soaring unemployment would cause a rise in household abuse, and figures now bear them out — with domestic violence reports at some agencies doubling and even tripling in the past few months. “We’ve never been busier,” lamented Nechama Bakst, senior director of the Met Council’s family-violence program. “We have seen people who never experienced violence starting to experience violence, and people who have experienced violence experience worse violence.” Typically, the non-profit...

Hours before Albuquerque police detained alleged members of an armed civilian group when a protest erupted in gunfire Monday, the mayor of New Mexico's largest city announced that unarmed social workers – not officers – would now respond to certain 911 calls. The decision came as Black Lives Matter advocates to defund police departments in the wake of the death of George Floyd, an unarmed black man who died in police custody after Minneapolis officer Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes on May 25. Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller announced that the city would create a “first-of-its-kind”...

Tolerance for criminality and political sabotage has led America into one of it's darkest moments in decades. Do we have the will to unite once more? Are we at war? Did we pass that invisible line beyond which the country cannot hold? After everything the Democrats and the media have put us through since the election of Donald Trump, is it even possible to imagine peaceful reconciliation and common national purpose? For a majority of Americans, the answers to those three questions are as obvious as they are dispiriting. That so many believe the country has fallen, is falling, or will...

On The Ingraham Angle Wednesday, Fox News host Laura Ingraham blasted the media for blaming President Trump for the bizarre case of a man who died from ingesting fish tank cleaner in March, supposedly thinking it was Hydroxychloroquine. But Ingraham highlighted a recent report in the Washington Free Beacon which found there may be more to this story than initially reported, even as the local police open an investigation. After playing clips of CNN and MSNBC journalists eagerly blaming Trump for Gary Lenius, of Mesa, Arizona’s death, she sighed, saying, "That is just despicable.” Ingraham then brought on Free Beacon...

--SNIP-- Since the law took effect in April, 574 accused domestic abusers in Philadelphia were ordered to hand over their weapons, but only 62 of them complied. “I’m really shocked at those figures,” said former State Rep. Marguerite C. Quinn, a Republican from Bucks County who sponsored the bill that ultimately became the domestic-violence law known as Act 79. “Is it a matter of manpower? Is it disrespect of the new law? Is it they are going out and people don’t have guns? I have a domino of questions.”

I'm currently debating someone on the issue of domestic violence in homosexual relationships. I've been pointing out that its higher than in gay relationships than it is in hetrosexual relationships. Initially I citied this article by LifesiteNews that goes into this issue where they cite the 2010 CDC report but found out looking through the comments that it was fraught with errors. https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/cdc-gay-lifestyle-fraught-with-violence As someone points out:"I am not sure why Lifesite is reporting this as if it is breaking news. The survey was done in 2010 and the CDC published a full report in January 2013. If Lifesite wants...

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s choice of words in discussing the problem of domestic violence couldn’t have been worse if he tried. When asked how he would support the #MeToo movement as president, he started by discussing that he authored the original Violence Against Women Act, arguing that “no man has a right to raise a hand to a woman in anger other than in self-defense, and that rarely ever occurs.” He said the culture needs to change and then vowed to “keep punching at it and punching it and punching at it.” After some laughter in the audience, Biden,...

Jessica Cameron, the victim of an alleged attempted murder by her ex-boyfriend, described the harrowing incident last December on the witness stand on Thursday. The two had three young children together, ages five, three, and two. “He refused to acknowledge it and accept it,” she said about their relationship. The argument at the dumpster soon turned violent. “Are you going to hurt me?” Cameron said on...
