A controversial Danish law allowing authorities to seize cash and valuables from asylum-seekers has been used on a handful of occasions since coming into force in February, Danish police said on Thursday. A newly-released YouGov survey shows that the vast majority of Danes are vehemently opposed to a Donald Trump presidency. Of the seven nationalities surveyed in the Eurotracker survey, Danes were the least optimistic about how Trump would do in the White House. Only one percent of Danish respondents said that Trump would be “a great president” if elected and only an additional two percent think he would be “good”. The bodies of a 27-year-old Syrian woman and her two young daughters were discovered in a freezer in the southern Danish town of Aabenraa on Sunday night, police said. Southern Jutland Police said on Monday morning that all three had been murdered and that officers were currently looking for the woman’s husband. “Police gained access to the residence, where the three bodies were found in a freezer. The children’s asylum center Børnecenter Tullebølle on the island of Langeland will be shut down after a number of problematic incidents and fresh allegations of sexual abuse. New figures from Statistics Denmark show that home prices increased by nearly two percent in July, the latest month for which numbers are available. North Zealand Police said on Monday that a man who was found dead at Center Sandholm on Sunday had been killed in an apparent stabbing. “The man was stabbed several times with a knife, and the North Zealand Police are investigating it as a murder case,” a police press release said. Those who consider themselves as “very right wing” are more likely to have a satisfactory sex life, according to a new European survey by YouGov that interviewed over 19,000 people. Just 66% of “left wing” Brits claimed to have a satisfactory sex life.
