(WGN-AM) - Mayor Daley once again called on state lawmakers to pass tougher gun laws in Illinois. With support from state lawmakers, aldermen, police and religious leaders, the mayor said it is time for the state to licensing gun dealers in Illinois. "We think that they should be licensed in the state of Illinois," Daley said. "that's one prerogative the General Assembly has. They license every other profession and they should license this profession as well." Gun dealers are already registered on the federal level. However, if dealers are licensed at the state level they can prosecuted in state courts....
