Former President Trump is vetting possible candidates to remove Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) from his leadership position, according to The Wall Street Journal. Sources familiar with the situation told the Journal that Trump has been speaking with senators and allies to gauge if there is any interest in deposing McConnell, though lawmakers and aides told the publication there has so far been little enthusiasm for the prospect. Despite being one of Trump's most powerful allies in the federal government when he was in office, a rift quickly formed between McConnell and the former president after he left office....

Former President Donald Trump on Friday reveled in Rep. Anthony Gonzalez’s decision to not seek reelection rather than face a bruising primary after he voted to impeach Trump earlier this year. “RINO Congressman Anthony Gonzalez, who has poorly represented his district in the Great State of Ohio, has decided to quit after enduring a tremendous loss of popularity, of which he had little, since his ill-informed and otherwise very stupid impeachment vote against the sitting President of the United States, me,” Trump said in a statement issued by his PAC. Trump has been prolific in doling out his endorsement since...

Studies show both hybrid immunity and superhuman immunity are ways in which our bodies may have extra fighting power against COVID-19. Experts say they’ve heard the terms used interchangeably, but they’re a little bit different. Hybrid immunity, is when someone has had COVID-19 and the vaccine. It provides people with antibodies from both. Superhuman immunity starts off the same way, but that some people with particular genetics can develop even more immunity. “There are some of us that have this super ability to be able to recover from infections, COVID being one of them, a little better than the general...

A group of Miami fans used an American flag to save the life of a cat dangling from the upper deck at Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday night. A stray cat somehow made its way to the top level at the stadium during No. 22 Miami’s 25-23 win over Appalachian State, but then slipped over the edge and was hanging on by just its paws. Dozens of feet below, as people sitting in the end zone sections grew more and more concerned, several fans stretched out an American flag in an attempt to catch the cat. It's a running joke that McDonald's soft serve machines are always broken — but now this issue is, apparently, being taken seriously By now, most people have become accustomed to the fact that the McFlurry machines at McDonald's are frequently out of order. There's even a "McBroken" map that can tell you whether your local McDonald's ice cream machine is working. But some McDonald's franchisees are tired of being the subject of social media roasts and they've taken the McFlurry problem into their own hands. According to a report in the Wall Street Journal published Wednesday, the United States Federal...

Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) on Wednesday shot down calls from within his own party to try to impeach President Biden, pointing to next year's midterm election as a potential check on the administration. "Well, look, the president is not going to be removed from office. There's a Democratic House, a narrowly Democratic Senate. That's not going to happen," McConnell said at an event in Kentucky, asked if Biden's handling of the drawdown in Afghanistan merits impeachment and if he would support it. "There isn't going to be an impeachment," he added. McConnell's comments come as some Republicans in...
