  • Donald Trump just trolled Rosie O'Donnell. Not good.

As his White House continued to struggle to get its story straight regarding the firing of FBI Director James Comey and the unwanted photo-op of the president and Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak on Wednesday, Donald Trump took time out to troll longtime nemesis Rosie O'Donnell. On Thursday afternoon, Trump retweeted a two-word tweet the actress sent in December 2016 that read: "FIRE COMEY." He added this comment: "We finally agree on something Rosie." Reminder: Donald Trump is the president of the United States, the head of the US military and, arguably, the single most powerful person in the world. O'Donnell...

The president of the United States has long-running beef with the actress Rosie O’Donnell, and that is not even the most surreal sentence I have written today. But this is not about me: It’s about Donald Trump and it’s about his tweet to O’Donnell at 3:55 p.m. “We finally agree on something Rosie,” says the tweet, published via Trump’s personal account, @realDonaldTrump. Trump was referring to a December 20, 2016, tweet by O’Donnell, which said: “FIRE COMEY.” At the time, many Hillary Clinton supporters were calling for James Comey, the now-ousted FBI director to be fired for having made public...
  • The Comey Firing: It’s All About Prosecuting Hillary for Allegedly Violating the Espionage Act

The questions for the new FBI Director. Is Hillary Clinton above the law? Or is America a country of laws where no man or woman is above the law? The Federal Espionage law and the facts of Hillary Clinton allegedly violating that law on multiple occasions over the four year period of being Secretary of State are very clear. Crystal clear. Recall the classic film courtroom drama, “A Few Good Men”, starring Jack Nicolson as Colonel Jessup and Tom Cruise (Kaffee) as the defense attorney trying to persuade Nicholson to admit to wrongdoing on the witness stand.

Can't imagine a man of James Comey's stature tolerating the fact that history will include obituaries of him that state that he was the first Director of the FBI who took a fall-- now the second FBI Director in history to be fired. I always thought that James Comey was a company man. As it happens, the company he headed is among the most influential, powerful and scary companies in the world—the Federal Bureau of Investigation. But still, a company guy. Whether working for a president on the moderate-to-conservative spectrum like G.W. Bush or for a far-left Alinsky acolyte like...
  • 12 Millennial Women On Earning Money Through A Side Hustle

Money is a feminist issue — and yet, women are still reluctant to talk about it. According to a recent Bustle survey of more than 1,000 Millennial women, more than 50 percent of people said they never discuss personal finances with friends, even though 28 percent reported feeling stressed out about money every single day. That's why Bustle launched Grown-A$$ Finances, a series that gets real about what Millennial women are doing with their money, and why — because managing your money should feel empowering, not intimidating. A lot of people have side jobs in addition to their full-time ones,...
  • This NY Times Magazine profile of Keith Olbermann isn’t very complimentary

Whatever happened to Keith Olbermann? Once a leading progressive voice on MSNBC, he is now doing a series of You Tube commentaries for GQ.com titled ‘The Resistance.” A not-especially-kind profile published Monday by NY Times Magazine describes the aging host’s show as a place for voicing anti-Trump conspiracy theories. According to “The Resistance,” the United States has suffered a “bloodless coup” and is “no longer a democracy”; the president is a “Manchurian candidate” who is “mentally ill” and beholden to “Russian scum”; we are witnessing the steady reduction of “the chance that we will have any future elections”; and Olbermann,...

It's nearing bedtime for Asher Huzar, but on a Tuesday night at 7:30 he ducks the rules, wriggles out from the dinner table and disappears to the basement for playtime. By the time his father, Nick Huzar, checks in on him, 3-year-old Asher has inflated his indoor bounce house, which provides him and his sister, Ava, with 15 minutes of entertainment before they pinball onto the next activity. Raising kids can be taxing, but at least for Huzar and his wife it has been relatively inexpensive. He bought the bounce house secondhand for $100. Huzar then points to Ava's princess...

Pepe the Frog is dead, killed off by his own creator after he watched Pepe turn from a wholesome meme into a symbol co-opted by neo-Nazis for the alt-right. Pepe was created by cartoonist Matt Furie back in 2006 for his comic Boy's Club, but after everything that has happened to Pepe in the last year (including its official recognition as a symbol of hate by the Anti-Defamation League), Furie put Pepe in a coffin in a page-long strip published today, Comic Book Resources reported. In an essay published by Time in October, Furie wrote about how Pepe was never...

Obviously, Hillary Clinton prefers fantasy to the harsh political reality of her disastrous campaign It has been six months since the political world was rocked to its core with the upset election of Donald Trump as President. One person who has not gotten over Trump’s victory is his opponent, Hillary Clinton. Of course, in the days before the election, almost every pollster and commentator predicted a Clinton victory. She was overconfident and believed the media spin. Incredibly, she was outperformed by a political novice, who won 306 electoral votes in 31 states, an unexpected landslide.

India’s small and mid-sized IT services companies are planning to increase local talent mix in the US like their major peer Infosys. The Bengaluru-based Infosys announced its plans to hire 10,000 US citizens in two years and set up four innovation hubs there. While companies such as Zensar Technologies, Persistent Systems are planning to increase the mix of US citizens at their local delivery centres, Infosys’s cross-town smaller rival Mindtree has partnered with the University of Florida through its Gainesville delivery centre to hire fresh engineering graduates and designed a curriculum for its engineering course too. Apart from the proposed...

Yes, THAT Andrea Mitchell So, did Hillary just squander her final shot at offering the mainstream media a genuine apology? A quick glance at today’s news seems to suggest that may be the case. We’ve already heard from David Axelrod. Now that we have this clip from Andrea Mitchell, I’m starting to think they’ve shifted gears from “tired of Hillary’s garbage” to “completely fed up with her whole shtick.”

Thousands of emails, including classified ones Hear that sound? That’s the drumbeat of Democrats desperately trying to sell (and cling to) the narrative that Hillary Clinton’s loss wasn’t her fault. Sometimes it’s Russia’s fault, sometimes it’s the fault of hateful men who despise women, and sometimes it’s the fault of that dastardly Vladimir Putin. Today, in D.C., it’s James Comey’s fault. Hillary Clinton had an illegal email server, was mishandling classified material, and, somehow, a whole bunch of these secret communications wound up on Anthony “Carlos Danger” Weiner’s computer

I work in IT in south Alabama. There are major network outages being reported by cell carriers, such as AT&T and Verizon. Other carriers are reporting it too. The maps show all of the Eastern seaboard from just south of Maine all the way to the bottom of Florida and the southeast United States plus major parts of California and Nebraska. We don't know exactly what is going on and I am not trying to alarm anyone but this is what I know at this point.

With unemployment low and economic growth expected to bounce back from a slow first quarter, consumers are not in bad shape. But it has been an especially terrible year so far for retailers. Nine U.S. chains have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Store closures are accelerating, and almost 90,000 retail workers have lost their jobs since October. Experts say the industry's troubles are just beginning. "The disruption is just unfolding," says Mark Cohen, a former CEO of Sears Canada who now directs retail studies at Columbia Business School. "I think the number of store closings will continue at an...

I’ve long observed the state of black children with deep concern. It seems that with all the billions of dollars being spent to educate children in urban areas, this money is going to waste. This waste appears to be a mixture of good old government inefficiency, apathetic parents, and teachers who don’t care much about our children. But spreading the blame doesn’t actually solve the problem. While we are sitting around trying to figure out who destroyed our children, the little ones are left to languish in the stench of inherited ignorance. We live in an age of information, where...
