This past weekend was really relaxing for me. I chose to stay home rather than doing my usual errand runs or making any social plans. I stayed in and read a book, and then I watched a couple movies I hadn’t seen in a while. Those kinds of weekends are crucial for me. Those weekends recharge me for the workweek ahead. I’m sure you don’t mind having a relaxing weekend once in a while, if your schedule allows it. While I was sitting home this past Saturday night, I was getting hungry. I didn’t eat dinner yet, but the idea...

Does anyone remember a few years ago the music industry paid a company, a person actually, to make a cd music disks that you couldn't rip songs off to your computer? The hackers were all over it the second it came out and besides being easy to hack the lousy software was simply disabled when you loaded the cd by holding down the space bar or something like that. I'd like to get the person's name or company to look up.

"Watch me in 2020." Seven years since U.S. authorities shut down the file-sharing platform, Megaupload founder Kim Dotcom is hoping to use a database of former users' emails to influence the 2020 presidential election. In a series of tweets this morning (Aug. 12), Dotcom suggested that he plans to encourage former users of the long-defunct site to oppose the presidential ambitions of former U.S. vice president Joe Biden, whom Dotcom has long blamed for instigating the site's downfall. "Still waiting to get access to your Megaupload files? I will email 30 million former US Megaupload users a video link in...

Patriotism is giving Huawei a boost, but netizens say, “Talk is cheap, show me the code” Huawei has finally revealed its homegrown operating system dubbed HarmonyOS, or Hongmeng as it’s known in China. For many social media users in the country, the launch is an exciting development that represents the rise of the country as a tech power. But at the same time, many people think the company’s unveiling of the OS raised more questions than it answered. “Talk is cheap, show me the code,” one Zhihu user posted under a question about the Hongmeng launch. The user was quoting...

This week, a menacing crowd assembled outside Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s home in an explicit effort to disrupt his convalescence after a fall broke his shoulder. Their activities included round-the-clock shouting of obscenities, demanding that “someone should stab him in the heart,” and chanting “murder Turtle”—a nickname political opponents have given the Senator. In an attempt to document this harassment, a video of the crowd’s behavior was posted on McConnell’s Twitter account. Twitter froze McConnell’s account and demanded that the video be removed. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey explained that “the foul language in the video violates our standards.” McConnell’s...

Hi, everyone. My computer has something called Cortana on it, and it constantly pops up and insists on trying to "help" me. (Like the government.) Does anyone know how I can disable it?

Trans and LGBTQIAP activists will tell you that you have no right to question their ideology or actions. They are the keepers of the new and unassailable religion. Their religion is called Queer Theory and it’s adherents are radical misogynistic zealots that have created their own queer caliphate. Their god is perversity, transgender “women” are their high priestesses, and drag queens are their temple dancers. At their unholy altar of misogyny they sacrifice the dignity of women and sexualize children in their pedophilic fantasies. American women need to wake up and realize that Queer-Marxists are doing everything they can to...

In a now-viral Facebook post from September of 2018, Breana Carlson led with a disclaimer about graphic potentially disturbing information and pictures, before exclaiming, “I genuinely feel like birth control has ruined my life.” Carlson was put on birth control in middle school in order to “regulate her menstrual cycles.” She was prescribed the hormonal contraceptive Junel and, within a couple of months of taking it, her cramps, acne, and heavy bleeding all lightened up. Within a year of starting hormonal birth control, her period stopped completely—also causing her relief. But her mother began to worry. A gynecologist reassured them...

Just stop calling for government, just stop. Video games are no more responsible for shootings than guns are. Children learning to use guns to defend themselves is a good thing and government regulation is a bad thing. Kids have always played "cops & robbers", "cowboys & indians" and "war", there is nothing wrong with it and it is healthy.

Does anybody know how to block those obnoxious ads on thelibertydaily.com? I like the site, but the ads are way too much. I've stopped visiting the site because of the ads. I've tried uBlock and AdBlock Plus -- to no avail. Thank you.

The mass shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio are horrific tragedies. In the case of the El Paso shooting, the suspected terrorist gunman appears to have been inspired by the forum website known as 8chan. Based on evidence we've seen, it appears that he posted a screed to the site immediately before beginning his terrifying attack on the El Paso Walmart killing 20 people. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. Nearly the same thing happened on 8chan before the terror attack in Christchurch, New Zealand. The El Paso shooter specifically referenced the Christchurch incident and appears to...

Scientists from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), Pennsylvania, have used a novel 3D bioprinting method to build functional parts of the human heart. According to a study published in Science, an advanced version of Freeform Reversible Embedding of Suspended Hydrogels (FRESH) technology was developed to 3D print collagen for small blood vessels, valves, and beating ventricles. FRESH technology is patented to FluidForm, a Massachusetts-based medical startup. Professor Adam Feinberg, CTO and co-founder, FluidForm, and Principal Investigator at the Regenerative Biomaterials and Therapeutics Group, CMU, said: “We now have the ability to build constructs that recapitulate key structural, mechanical, and biological properties...

The moral of the story is that if you are going to be a victim of an online mob of Twitter trolls, at least do it with your pride and dignity intact Once again, a celebrity or politician has apologized for offending the left-wing puritans on social media. This time, Mario Lopez, a newly hired host of Access Hollywood, apologized for opining that three-year-old children should not determine their gender. This statement was made in June on a podcast program with conservative commentator Candace Owens. Of course, the remark was both innocuous and sensible as children that young should not...

Cobod is ready to ship the world’s largest 3D construction printer to Elite for Construction & Development Co in Saudi Arabia – ordered as part of the kingdom’s Vision 2030 mandate to build 1.5 million private-sector homes over the next 10 years – after completing the dry and full testing of the printer, a machine that offers a print area of 300m2 per floor and can print three-floor tall buildings, with its Bod 2 configuration marking the largest that Cobod has produced to date. After a private house in Riyadh was 3D-printed last year, multiple public and private organisations have...

A former Google engineer who claims he has been blacklisted by the tech giant says he believes the company will try to influence the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. "They really want Trump to lose in 2020. That’s their agenda," Kevin Cernekee said Friday on Fox News' "Tucker Carlson Tonight." "They have very biased people running every level of the company," Cernekee continued. "They have quite a bit of control over the political process. That’s something we should really worry about."

I was shadowbanned on foxnews.com. This led me on a fascinating journey of discovery on how commenting on foxnews.com is making Google's algorithm's smarter, and making it easier to suppress conservative views in the future. Quick IntroI shouldn't be writing this right now. I have "work-work" to do, but this has been weighing on me all day. So I'm going to crank out a quick write-up, without FULL analysis, but will show you how you can get the same data for yourself so you can analyze your own comment history. This is not insider info, but it might as well...

As we have been saying for years now, Big Tech’s brazen anti-Christian and anti-Conservative thought policing must stop. Earlier this week, YouTube rightfully came under fire when the proprietors of a faith-based ministry for military veterans were barred from running an ad for their foundation because it contained just one unacceptable keyword: “Christian.” According to Chad Robichaux, a U.S. Marine veteran and founder of the Mighty Oaks Foundation, his marketing team recently attempted to run the ad for his “Mighty Oaks Show,” which features interviews with vets and Christian content geared toward their unique strengths and struggles after service. But,...

Stop us if you've heard this before. According to Reuters, President Donald Trump said that Apple will follow his wishes by opening a U.S. factory in Texas. The president's comments were made the same day that he disseminated a tweet saying that he would not grant the tech giant a waiver that would prevent it from having to pay import taxes on parts for the Mac Pro imported from China. Trump also pointed out that if Apple made the parts in the states, it wouldn't face tariffs on them. While Apple designs its products in the U.S., many of them...

A man has died after reportedly filming himself swallowing poisonous centipedes and geckos alive. The Chinese vlogger, named only by his surname Sun, live-streamed himself carrying out the stomach-churning challenge, which he had hoped would gain him more online followers. The 35-year-old is said to have been found lifeless by his girlfriend when she went to check on him at his flat in the eastern city of Hefei. He was later pronounced dead. Sun had also been filming himself drinking large amounts of alcohol, as well as eating mealworms for the platform DouYu, where he had 15,000 followers.
