It seems like a lifetime in a dark cave, but I'm finally online from home again. My old computer (which was brand new at the beginning of last year) apparently couldn't be fixed. They sold me a used but better computer and put all my stuff on it besides. It's so good to be back. Hopefully this time it will last a while.

(VIDEO-AT-LINK) New analysis of malware campaigns suggests that North Korean hackers may have re-used malware and computer infrastructure, leaving a trail which increasingly allow incidents to be traced back to them. Examination of malware believed to be associated with North Korean cyber operations found the same code is often re-used in multiple attacks -- and increasing the confidence that a string of campaigns over the last decade have been the work of the hackers in the country. The joint research by security firms McAfee and Intezer reveals new connections between attacks believed to be the work of North Korea, a...

Part of an overall strategy. They know how successful conservative messages and articles are to people who are objective enough to read the other sides positions. They have to shut it down so that they cannot find good expositions from conservatives. They leave all the faux conservative ajd fakers like mccain and romney and graham and the like to pass off as the other side. Ultimately, its part of the strategy to silence our side in order to secure democrat election wins.

The Left want full control over speech so they can feed the public lies and disinformation without anyone being able to expose their lies The ban of the Alex Jones channel by Youtube was just the tip of the iceberg. Many more conservatives have also been banned by Youtube, Facebook, Apple and Twitter, but socialist political hacks can spout off 4 letter words on Youtube, and make hate filled racist remarks against whites on Twitter with impunity. Apparently, corporate media censors have gotten together to silence conservative voices. Is this just the usual Liberal hypocrisy, or something else? I think...

When it’s the survival of a beloved country voters can see at stake, survival is surprisingly resilient The ganging up and piling on of social media in the Midterm Election Campaign, members of which are the same ones that banned Alex Jones, is not new. In fact, it’s Election 2016 Redux, returning for a second stab in the back with a vengeance. Jones’ followers, already scrambling to find him any way possible, prove that there is life after Facebook, Apple, Spotify, Google YouTube et al.

No, I am not going to start this post with a disclaimer about how much I personally dislike Alex Jones and Infowars. No, I don't believe everything he says, anymore than I believe CNN or any other outlet, but I enjoy hearing a wide variety of perspectives. I also believe that a lot of important political activities happen behind closed doors, and I'm curious to find out as much as I can about the most important of them, and that apparently makes me a "conspiracy theorist". Further, having watched a fair amount of Alex Jones over the years, he has...

By making carbon leak (trickle down) through cracks on copper, researchers have developed a new process for “growing” graphene directly on materials used for nano-scale electronic applications, thereby opening the way to produce high-performance electronic devices. This versatile process, developed by a team of chemical engineers led by Indian-American Vikas Berry at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in the US, enables graphene to be economically grown on almost any semiconducting or dielectric substrate of relevance to the electronic industry, the researchers claim. They have reported this new method in the journal “ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces” of the...

If Amazon selects Dallas for its second headquarters, it will be adding to the region’s already rich retail DNA. While Dallas-Fort Worth is known for its business diversity, retailing represents a big slice — maybe one it’s not getting much credit for in the ongoing speculation about where the largest online retailer will decide to put its HQ2. When analysts size up the 20 cities that Amazon said it would pick from this year, they have looked at where each stands in regards to affordable housing, tech talent, quality of life and other measures Amazon says it’s looking for. That...

UAE and Greek companies claim world first tech allows architects to become industry’s master builders UAE-based 3D printing company Immensa Technology Labs has released the result of a joint effort with Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) to recover a series of concrete casting techniques with the aid of large-format 3D printing. In what the two companies claim is a world-first, a ‘Sensorial Adaptive Concrete Screen’ was developed with NOWlab, the innovation department of Berlin-based BigRep. The screen showcases techniques that once belonged to skilled craftsman but have had life breathed back into them through expert digital fabrication. According to a statement...

Companies have been showing an increasing preference for hiring Americans since President Donald Trump imposed heavier scrutiny on visas heavily used to hire foreign tech workers. While some companies say they need more of the visas to make up for a shortage of American talent, data suggests the visas have been abused to displace American workers. In April 2017, Trump issued an executive order to “Buy American and Hire American.” In response, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) set on to fight fraud and abuse in the H-1B Visa Program. H-1Bs allow U.S. companies to hire up to 85,000 foreign...

Energized by the internet persona Q’s complex web of conspiracy notions about the forces aligned against President Donald Trump, Q’s followers have spread virally online and now, in real life too, forming a movement known as QAnon. From somewhere in the vast and mysterious “deep state,” a dissident agent rises up to give the people cryptic clues about how their heroic president will push back the forces of evil and make America great again. The renegade informant is known only as “Q,” and if he actually exists, it’s not as a character in a movie, but somewhere in the Washington,...

Maybe it's time we stopped with the pearl-clutching over video games. Fortnite was big news on Tuesday, when the Wall Street Journal published a feature looking at parents who hire tutors to help their kids (and themselves) get good. The article itself is a fine example of non-biased journalism: There's no agenda, and the story works to inform and help people understand this growingly frequent practice without casting any judgments. But the response has been something else. In 2018, folks are still freaked out by video games. The revelation that parents hire video game tutors has prompted a mixture of...

We asked a number of government spooks and hackers and contractors who have worked for the FBI and other spooky federal agencies to examine Robert Mueller’s latest indictments of 12 alleged Russian “operatives.” Their conclusion? HOAX. Mueller’s team fabricated evidence. And a whole lot of evidence. What kind of evidence? It’s all right here. Whether you understand IT or not, the evidence Mueller claims points to Russia actually also points to India, Pakistan and of course China. Funny though, Mueller never mentions that in his indictment. Wonder why? President Trump has called it a witch hunt. And a number of...

It was revealed recently that North Korea is sitting on approximately $6 trillion worth of natural resources, which the country lacks the technology or expertise to extract. The impoverished nation is quite literally sitting on a goldmine, a significant portion of which is made up of rare earth metals. Rare earth metals are not - as you would expect - exceptionally rare, but are generally found in small trace quantities underground. What is rare is to find them in high concentrations, which is exactly what experts believe is present beneath the soil of North Korea. Not only are these resources...

A new facility in North Texas is starting up its production line for some of the technology that powers the Apple iPhone X's latest features. Silicon Valley-based Finisar has hired 200 people and begun operations at a new plant in Sherman, a city about 65 miles north of Dallas. The facility produces vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers, or VCSELs, that are used in smartphones. The lasers enable some of the iPhone X's features, such as facial recognition that unlocks the phone, a portrait mode that takes professional-looking photos and a tool that creates animated emojis based on the user's facial expressions. Jeff...

Big SM looking to guide its users to correct thinking It really isn’t any surprise that social media giants are taking heat this last week for the ill thought-out actions of constraining free speech on their platforms. Taking punitive action against individuals under the guise of saving users the pain of glimpsing an offensive meme, comment or video, Facebook, Twitter and Google-owned YouTube has been deleting, locking and hiding content of targeted accounts. Not only have they demonetized accounts of popular personalities like Diamond and Silk, the black female duo leading the pack of Trump supporters, but they have refused...
