In a landmark ruling, a court in Mexico City has said two people should be allowed to use cocaine legally. The ruling means the unnamed pair can use, but not sell, small amounts of cocaine, according to Mexico United Against Crime (MUCD), an NGO that filed legal papers in the case as part of its strategy to change the country’s drug policy. This is the first time cocaine use has been made legal in Mexico, but the ruling still needs to be ratified by a higher court. It comes at a time when Mexico is grappling with its drug policy...

Rose, whose band played Sunday in the Philippines, fired back at Trump on Twitter. “Um...actually...it’s a lack of federal funding that’s at the ‘root’ of the purported forest mismanagement. Only a demented n’ truly pathetic individual would twist that around n’ use a tragedy to once again misrepresent facts for attempted public/political gain at other’s expense,” the 56-year-old singer wrote. This isn’t the first time Rose has taken issue with Trump. Days before last week’s midterm elections, Rose tweeted that he’d formally asked the President to refrain from using Guns N' Roses songs at political rallies. “Just so ya know…...

How does a hellhole with no money like Venezuela stay afloat? Obviously, because of the cocaine trade. And that's been going around for years, given that dozens of top Venezuelan rulers have been sanctioned or put on Treasury Department watchlists. The very rulers at the heart of Venezuela's socialist hellhole, so admired by Bernie Sanders and Sean Penn, are nothing but Pablo-Escobar-style drug dealers. Imagine how repulsive it is: All of the legal businesses have been put out of business by socialist diktats, while all of the illegal businesses, such as drug dealing, have flourished - and the money floats...

No surprise that the Communist Party USA, plus official voices from Communist China and Russia, endorse Obama's latest attacks on the 2nd Amendment. Communists Cheer On Obama’s Gun Grab The New American 24 January 2013 It should come as no surprise that the Communist Party USA is on board with President Obama’s plan to attack Americans’ right to keep and bear arms as a means to “end gun violence.” A cardinal feature of communist regimes, like all dictatorships, is the prohibition of private ownership of arms, creating a monopoly of force in the hands of the State. In a...

Bill Clinton sought to persuade Rep. Kendrick Meek to drop out of the race for Senate during a trip to Florida last week — and nearly succeeded. Meek agreed — twice — to drop out and endorse Gov. Charlie Crist’s independent bid in a last-ditch effort to stop Marco Rubio, the Republican nominee who stands on the cusp of national stardom. Meek, a staunch Clinton ally from Miami, has failed to broaden his appeal around the state and is mired in third place in most public polls, with a survey today showing him with just 15 percent of the vote....

WASHINGTON -- For her own Women's History Month assignment, first lady Michelle Obama visited Anacostia High School, on the poor side of town, where on Thursday she surprised a group of students. One of her goals is to demystify the White House and make it more accessible to the people who live here. Mrs. Obama told the youngsters she felt isolated from an institution in her own community when she was growing up and that she suspected they may view the White House and the Capitol the way she saw the University of Chicago as a young girl -- a...

John Kerry raised about $5 million for his campaign at a couple of events in Los Angeles on Thursday night, the second of which featured performances by Barbra Streisand, Neil Diamond, Billy Crystal and Willie Nelson. Amongst those who contributed in order to attend: Leonardo DiCaprio, Ben Affleck, Jamie Foxx, Ben Stiller and Robert DeNiro. Crystal "joked" about President Bush, according to multiple media accounts, "I realize that 9/11 is also his SAT scores." The New York Times touted how "the much-heralded highlight was the Barbra Streisand-Neil Diamond reunion duet, 'You Don't Bring Me Flowers,' which they had not performed...

I just saw it on MSNBC. They said she was at a party a week ago, 3 days before Kobe was charged. They said she was drinking (consumption by a minor) and playing cards, and was bragging about.....(MSNBC took out the audio at the end of sentence) The story was confirmed by 5 people at separate places and times who were at the party and all gave a similar account of what happened. When asked how the girl looked, the guy interviewed said she looked happy. Everyone was shocked to see her at the party given the incident. I think...
