Immigration rights organizers today will call for a nationwide boycott of work, school and shopping on May 1 to protest congressional efforts to clamp down on illegal aliens as part of pending immigration-reform legislation. The "Great American Boycott of 2006" is only one in a series of large-scale events the protesters hope will sway lawmakers to put millions of illegal aliens on track toward permanent residency and U.S. citizenship. "The massive March 25 march and rally in Los Angeles of well over one million immigrant workers and their supporters -- along with protests and student walkouts throughout the United States...

Answering Arianna Huffingtons 20 Questions 1.) Last week, you insisted: "I didn't want war. To assume I wanted war is just flat wrong... it's simply not true." Yet source after source after source suggests otherwise, including your former Treasury Secretary, Paul O'Neil, who has said that invading Iraq was a goal set out at your first National Security Council meeting, just ten days after your inauguration: "It was all about finding a way to do it. That was the tone of it. The president saying 'Go find me a way to do this.'" Mr. President, is Paul O'Neil lying? Answer-...

A mob scene unfolded at Oceanside High School on Mission Avenue Wednesday morning when about 200 students tried to leave campus, only to be blocked by police officers toting pepper-spray pellet guns and wearing riot gear. The scene at the campus subsided as school let out this afternoon and protesting students headed for the Oceanside Bandshell at the beach. Three boys have been arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon for allegedly throwing chunks of concrete at officers during the incident at the school. Tensions arose at the school just before noon, when several hundred students tried to...

On March 23, we FReeped on all four corners of the main gate at Walter Reed again. For two straight months we've had all four corners following the Pinkos' retreat as explained in the following thread relative to January 20: Code Pink Retreats from Walter Reed-Freepers Win! (Week 40 Report at #1352). We had a great turnout of FReepers from the DC Chapter and beyond including numerous other patriots as well as several Walter Reed patients. The night was slightly cooler than normal for the time of year, but it wasn't bad. This was FReep #49 as FReepers have countered...

<p>On Wednesday night, March 29, 2006, the Prince George's Peace and Justice Coalition rented space in the Greenbelt, MD Community center, to host a Code Pink presentation of its allegations of war crimes committed continuously by American soldiers. For folks unfamiliar with the history of Greenbelt, go to this link.</p>

The D.C. Chapter of Free Republic invites all FReepers and lurkers in good standing to join with us tonight as we attend this public event: From above linked source: The Prince George’s Peace and Justice Coalition will host one of a group of Iraqi women now touring the United States.Eman Ahmad Khamas(*) will give a firsthand account of how the occupation of Iraq has changed everyday life there, and explain why she and her sisters on the tour want the U.S. to withdraw from their homeland. This begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Greenbelt Community Center, 15 Crescent Road, Greenbelt....

Medea Benjamin's multiple Marxist Organizations make it somewhat difficult to find out what they're up to, with their "Iraqi Women" tour. I just found this itinerary listed on Global Exchange's website. Medea Benjamin, Code Pink, Global Exchange, Women Say No To War, et.al., have been peddling this tour as being voices of real Iraqi women. Not true, and I will add more about this in comments to follow on this thread. But since some of these events are tonight, I wanted to post this announcement quickly, in case some of you all wanted to attend and/or protest these events. My...

WELCOME TO RECONQUISTA By Michelle Malkin · March 27, 2006 09:42 AM ***scroll for updates...Bush warns against stoking anti-immigrant feelings. Wants a "civil debate." Video here...Ok. Tell that to the divisive militants below...*** As Mickey Kaus points out, the reporters at the Los Angeles Times (and all other major media, for that matter) have downplayed the radical ethnic separatism that characterized the pro-illegal immigration rallies over the weekend. While the Times misleadingly asserted that the Los Angeles rally "featured more American flags than those from any other country," its reporters conveniently ignored marchers with extremist signs and banners advocating...

iMacMan did his wonders with his camera today by taking pictures of the passing cars from the FReepers point of view. The photo below was posted by Code Pink on their site within the article written by one of the Baath Party women they have put on the college lecture circuit. They claim our troops were "baby killers" during Operation Swarmer". There's at least one comment on the thread (Code Pink Fails To Hide Core Belief: American Troops Are Baby Killers) that the picture has been seen before, which would mean once again Code Pink has lied about or photoshopped a photograph. Can anyone place it? Was it from the village Saddam gassed?

An article from a pro-jihad website EMAN'S TOUR: THE GRUESOME REALITY OF OPERATION SWARMER (click here) is posted at Women Say No To War, the latest propoganda element of Code Pink's America bashing campaign. It's written by "Eman Ahmad Khamas is a human rights advocate who has documented abuses by the occupation forces. She is a member of Women’s Will, and traveling the around the U.S. on a month-long speaking tour organized by CODEPINK and Global Exchange." Khamas admitted to being a "lowly translator" in Saddam's government, which means she had to have been a Baath Party member. Now she's...

It's now official. Mother Sheehan fits the definition to a tee. From one of the myriad self-important lunatic left sites (which are all run by the same handful of people), AfterDowningStreet: CINDY SHEEHAN, HOWARD ZINN AMONG NOTED LEADERS FOR PEACE ENDORSING THE EXXONMOBIL WAR BOYCOTTWed, 2006-03-22 The ExxonMobil War Boycott campaign announces endorsements by Cindy Sheehan, Howard Zinn, and a host of internationally known activists and writers, with support from national and regional peace and justice organizations. Consumers for Peace launched the boycott campaign on December 29, 2005, seeking an immediate withdrawal of U.S. troops and mercenaries from Iraq and the...

"Something I hold so dear" by Wayne Boettcher Posted: 03/24/2006 It was a cool day in the desert on March 18, 2006, happy grey clouds scudded across the sky. The brisk wind rocked my truck, promising a sand-filled day as I ricocheted through the crazy Tucson streets toward the Military Recruiting Center at 2302 E. Speedway. In this town, many citizens seem to have replaced the gas and brake pedals of their vehicles with a simple toggle switch where up is full power, down is full brake. When I arrived at the Center at 8:00 am, at least ten...

A lefty report of last weekend's action in Fayetteville, N.C. marking the third anniversary of Operation Iraqi Freedom shows that the Freepers gathered across the street with Rolling Thunder managed to provoke Code Pink's Iraqi propagandist to reveal her support for the insurgency. Code Pink markets itself as a 'peace group.' Harrumph: In addition to McGovern, those at the "Bring Them Home Now" event heard from Iraqi pharmacist Rashad Zidan, one of seven Iraqi women who are touring the United States calling for an end to the U.S. occupation. Zidan, whose trip is sponsored by the U.S. peace group Code...

This past Monday night, Bill O'Reilly had Medea Benjamin, the founder of the "antiwar" group Code Pink, as a guest on his Fox News program, "The O?Reilly Factor." Code Pink is the organization that has been holding anti-troop demonstrations outside Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington, D.C. every week, countered by a large turnout from the DC Chapter of Free Republic (God bless FR.) There are plenty of legitimate antiwar organizations whose spokepersons O'Reilly could have put on the Factor. Instead, he chose to put on the founder of Code Pink, which gave thousands of dollars to the terrorists in...

The number of locals out numbered the stretched thin FReepers this week!!! FReepers from the D.C. area were in Richmond and Fayetteville representing us down thereSeven FReepers/Lurkers were in attendance: Spiff, Jimmy Valentine's Brother, [Mrs] Trooprally, myself, Lurker Lloyd, and locals Lurker Bill & Cindy-True-Supporter.Seven locals in attendance were Steve (with crutch, just moved to Nevada and was in town briefly), Stu, and five kids who stopped by for about an hour. The kids plan on being back next week with reinforcements and will be dressed for the weather. They only had on light clothing since they didn't plan on...

Appearing as a guest on tonight's episode of the O'Reilly Factor (Mon. 3/20/06), Medea Benjamin, a cofounder of the far-left group Code Pink, made the claim that "North Korea does not have a nuclear weapon." An overwhelming mountain of evidence suggests otherwise. In October 2002, North Korea publicly admitted to having a nuclear weapons program (see here and here). This was a clear violation of the 1994 agreement it made under the Clinton administration not to seek to build nuclear weapons. (By the way, there may be evidence that President Clinton knew as President that North Korea was breaking...

The third anniversary of the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq was marked over the weekend by a wave of protests around the world. Most of the marches in America were spearheaded by United for Peace and Justice, the nation’s largest anti-war coalition. United for Peace and Justice is a large umbrella association of more than thirteen hundred local and national groups who have joined together to protest the immoral and disastrous Iraq War and oppose our government’s policy of permanent warfare and empire-building. The organization’s recent press release tells us of a massive effort planned for the week of March 15...

Preparing to greet the commies - Early Saturday Morning DStarr chooses a sign from her arsenal as she prepares to confront the leftist march. This past Saturday, March 18, 2006 we conducted our third annual FReep in commemoration of the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom. As in past years, leftists marched through the streets of Fayetteville, NC (home of Fort Bragg and Pope Airforce Base) and congregated in Rowan Park for their day of music and speeches, coordinated by NC Peace and Justice Coalition. The support the troops rally was conducted on the hillside overlooking Rowan Park. Wolfpat's sound...

Two of our gutsy members stood the line against the moonbataloonies today at the corner of Massachusetts Ave and Observatory Circle. We were running very very late, and after a few wrong turns and a missed pickup at Catholic University, we parked and got our signs out.My "Thank God for George Bush" sign brought a few hoorahs, and attaboys from some youngsters walking on the other side of the street, but that was short-lived.When we arrived at the corner, I announced that "Protest Warrior is in the house" and called out Princess, who was hiding behind a tree with his desecrated...
