We've all heard the phrase, "Well, if it works for you...", as a justification for this or that behavior or attitude. It's a reflection of the relativistic yet utilitarian values of our society. "It may not work for you, but it works for me...," and who are we to question the efficacy of "what works"? The truth is, "If it works for you..." is a myth.
