Wow — what a week! I’m writing from in between stops on the #CruzCountry Bus Tour as we continue our #CruzToVictory through southern states that will play a huge part in making Ted our Republican nominee for President of the United States. As you likely know, the Republican candidates met in Cleveland, Ohio, for the first debate of the 2016 season on Thursday. And it was a great night for Ted — but don’t just take it from me:Frank Luntz declared the debate “great news for Ted Cruz.â€Charles Krauthammer named Ted Cruz a “winner of the night.â€The Press Enterprise wrote “Cruz...

Columnist Charles Krauthammer argued that “Teflon Don” Donald Trump has show “he’s going to be a durable candidate” on Monday’s “O’Reilly Factor” on the Fox News Channel. Krauthammer said of Trump’s debate strategy, “I would think from his point of view, when you have the kind of lead he does, and the others have no particular incentive to attack you, because it might hurt the two of you, and leave the rest of the field unmolested, you’ve got a pretty good shot at just playing statesman and being quiet.

Calls to remove the Confederate flag are nothing but a “standard liberal impulse” that will accomplish nothing, conservative commentator Charles Krauthammer said Tuesday. “Had the flag not existed or not been on the grounds of the (South Carolina) capital, this massacre would have happened in any case,” Krauthammer said on Fox News’ “Special Report” Tuesday. “But it’s the standard liberal impulse.” “Something happened really bad. So there’s gotta be a problem and there has to be a solution, we must do something,” Krauthammer said, mimicking the liberal thought process. “Even if the ‘something’ is entirely irrelevant.”

A sure-fire way of assessing the threat that leftists feel toward any challenge to their nonsensical narratives and preposterous Trump Black and White Card RSN 320policies is to measure the long knives and “important” people they drag out to slam the competition. Whether it’s the leftwing JournoList cabal of 400 so-called journalists and academics who in 2007 colluded to launch relentless character assassinations against every person who challenged Barack Obama about anything, or the obsessive sexist attacks and slander leveled in 2008 against Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin, or, more dramatically, the strange death of Obama critic Andrew Breitbart, the...

On Special Report tonight, Charles Krauthammer noted that Obama occasionally stumbles on the truth, as he did when he admitted that his administration does not yet have a strategy to defeat ISIS; but as is always the case with this president it’s never his fault when something goes wrong. “The reason is Obama’s entire strategy rests on the notion that trained Iraqis under this government are going to carry the fight to ISIS,” Krauthammer said, noting that strategy has failed in Mosul, Ramadi and Fallujah. “This is a country that was abandoned by Obama in 2011 and threw in its...

The Republican nominating race is a mess: a strong field, but with ten declared candidates and a half-dozen more to come, we need a bouncer to keep order. I’ve given myself the job. Rope lines separate the four categories. A. Top tier: 1. Jeb Bush. Solid, no sizzle. Sizzle may be in less demand than eight years ago, but his inability to separate from the pack, his recent campaign shakeup and his four-day stumble over Megyn Kelly’s “knowing what we know now” Iraq question have given even his supporters pause. Nonetheless, a bulging war chest, a fine gubernatorial record, and...

Donald Trump launched a Twitter battle late Thursday and into Friday against Fox News contributor Charles Krauthammer, calling him a "dummy" and a "totally overrated clown" after the conservative pundit mocked Trump's low poll ratings. The real estate mogul's Twitter tirade started after Krauthammer, appearing on the Fox News show "Special Report with Bret Baier," said that Trump's place at the top of a Fox News poll showing who Republicans would never vote for showed Trump earned a "deserved 59 percent" of the negative votes, reports Talking Points Memo. "It’s just a tremendously interesting poll," Krauthammer told Baier. "It is...

Full Caption: "What Charles Krauthammer Said That Had Donald Trump Unleashing a Blistering Tirade: ‘Overrated Clown!’" Appearing on Fox News’ “Special Report” Thursday, Krauthammer cited a recent poll of current and likely 2016 Republican candidates whom respondents said they would “never” vote for. “It is led by Donald Trump, with a deserved 59 percent,” Krauthammer told host Bret Baier. “You have to add ‘deserved?’” Baier interjected.

President Obama's stunning declaration that the global image of the United States has greatly improved under his administration is another example of his ideology and narcissism's blinding him to his many policy failures. During a White House event with the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative, he managed to turn the subject to himself, saying, "People don't remember -- when I came into office, the United States in world opinion ranked below China and just barely above Russia. And today, once again, the United States is the most respected country on earth." As evidence, the White House cited a Gallup poll,...

During Thursday evening’s edition of Special Report on Fox News, Charles Krauthammer offered some backhanded praise of Donald Trump for leading a poll of presidential candidates people will not vote for. The real estate mogul leads the poll “with a deserved 59 percent,” the pundit told host Bret Baier. “[Trump] is going to say how sad it is that I’m saying these things,” Krauthammer continued. “But, you know, this is an open forum and we have free speech. He has a well-deserved and, I would say, an impressive 59 percent.”Uh-oh, you done poke the bear now!

On Tuesday’s “Special Report” during the show’s “All-Star Panel” segment, Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer reacted to remarks from President Barack Obama claiming he was “the closest thing to a Jew that has ever sat” in the Oval Office. Krauthammer expressed his confusion, but criticized Obama’s “personal hurt” and suggested he reevaluate his position on an Iran nuke deal. “I’m not sure I even understand what that means,” Krauthammer said. “But perhaps the judgment of Israelis, who 6 million of them are Jews, have a pretty good idea what a Jew is and more importantly have a pretty good ideal...

Big Guy advises the world - that remains blissfully unaware - that under his leadership "once again, the United States is the most respected country on earth." And tying for second place, for the third year in a row, was Iran - for their multiple advancements in human rights and nuclear arms control. Still, getting stoned in Iran isn’t the same thing as getting stoned in America Charles Krauthammer respectfully disagreed with Barry’s assessment, wondering simply “what planet he's living on.” Answer: Planet Obamaville Posted from: Michelle Obama’s Mirror

Hundreds of Hillary Clinton‘s emails were released today, something Clinton herself said she wants, but Charles Krauthammer doesn’t really buy this is some great victory for transparency and disclosure. “There isn’t a shred of evidence,” he said, “because she shredded the evidence. This whole release is a farce.” He pointed out that it’s not like every little email Clinton ever sent will be released to the public, only the ones ‘scrubbed and cleansed and decided upon, chosen by her own people, acting in her own interest.” And, Krauthammer added, it’s working, because the media is eagerly looking through “pre-scrubbed material”...

Ted Cruz is intellectually arrogant, like Ronald Reagan. The difference is that Reagan masked his arrogance with self-deprecating humor. Sen. Cruz does a Reagan impression that would do a nightclub comedian proud, but he doesn’t have Reagan’s easy and spontaneous humor. One doesn’t think of Reagan as arrogant, but he was in fact the most arrogant leader we have had since Lincoln. He ignored the whole of the foreign policy establishment in his conviction that America stood to win the Cold War and bring down Communism. Then as now, the foreign policy establishment resembled Jonathan Swift’s scientists on the floating...

Gulf of Aden: Iran sends a flotilla of warships and weapons-carrying freighters to reinforce the rebels in Yemen — a noncontiguous, non-Persian, nonthreatening (to Iran) Arabian state — asserting its new status as regional bully and arbiter. The Obama administration sends an aircraft carrier group, apparently to prevent this gross breach of the UN weapons embargo on Yemen. Instead, the administration announces that it has no intention of doing anything. Meanwhile, it exerts pressure on Saudi Arabia to halt its air war over Yemen and agree to negotiate a political settlement involving Iran.

In addition to being a regular on Fox News and a Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist, Charles Krauthammer is also a board certified psychiatrist. So he presumably knows what he’s talking about when he discusses mental disorders and diseases. That’s why it was particularly interesting to hear Krauthammer’s use of the word “pathological” when describing President Obama’s sneering attack on Scott Walker in connection with the governor’s comments about the Iran nuclear agreement. The Merriam-Webster online dictionary defines “pathological” as “extreme in a way that is not normal or that shows an illness or mental problem.” Video at source:

The blood is in the water. The game is afoot. And the Republicans are brawling. While Democrats are usually viewed as the undisciplined, fractious party, it is Republicans who sharpen their knives and slice each other up when the White House is at stake. The struggle is between two groups within the GOP. The establishment finally recognizes that the party must broaden its base. If the party appeals to only white, Christian conservatives, it will wind up as a regional party, capable of winning Senate and House seats but incapable of winning a national election. We must nominate a presidential...

The Obama presidency is fond of issuing apologies for America on the world stage, but very rarely makes them at home to Americans. White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer has just issued one to Washington Post columnist and Fox News contributor Charles Krauthammer, who last week wrote an op-ed berating the Obama administration for removing a bust of Sir Winston Churchill from the Oval Office when it came to power. Pfeiffer had issued a stinging attack on Krauthammer, alleging that his Churchill bust reference was “100 percent false.” Krauthammer was of course 100 percent correct, and the British Embassy in...

Utah Sen. Mike Lee defended himself Tuesday against allegations that his point of order vote, which he earned in partnership with Sens. Ted Cruz and Jeff Sessions, contributed to President Barack Obama being able to confirm more of his nominees through the outgoing Democratic Senate majority. “Look, I’ve got tremendous respect for Charles Krauthammer, but he does not have a crystal ball,” Utah Sen. Mike Lee said on the Laura Ingraham radio show.
